Featuring a 5-liter capacity, UV lamp sterilization, a touch display, and quiet operation, the F628S offers efficient and convenient humidification. Please read this manual thoroughly before operation to ensure proper use, maintenance, and safety.
Important Safety Instructions
To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury, always follow these basic safety precautions:
- Read all instructions before using the humidifier.
- Always place the humidifier on a firm, flat, level surface.
- Do not place the humidifier near heat sources such as stoves, radiators, or direct sunlight.
- Do not block air vents. Ensure adequate space around the humidifier for proper airflow.
- Use only clean, cool tap water or distilled water. Do not add essential oils directly into the water tank unless specified by the manufacturer.
- Unplug the humidifier from the power outlet when not in use, before cleaning, or when refilling the water tank.
- Do not immerse the humidifier base in water or other liquids.
- Keep out of reach of children and pets.
- Do not operate the humidifier if the cord or plug is damaged, or if the unit has been dropped or damaged.
- Only use attachments/accessories specified by the manufacturer.

Setup
1. Unpacking and Placement
Carefully remove all packaging materials from the humidifier. Place the unit on a flat, stable, and water-resistant surface at least 6 inches (15 cm) away from walls and furniture. Ensure the power cord can reach an electrical outlet without being stretched.

2. Filling the Water Tank
- Remove the water tank from the humidifier base.
- Unscrew the water tank cap at the bottom of the tank.
- Fill the water tank with clean, cool tap water. Do not fill past the MAX line indicated on the tank.
- Securely screw the water tank cap back on.
- Place the filled water tank back onto the humidifier base, ensuring it is seated correctly.

3. Initial Power On
Plug the power cord into a standard electrical outlet. The humidifier will enter standby mode, and the digital display may illuminate briefly.
Operating Instructions
The Deerma F628S features a touch display for easy control of its functions.

1. Power On/Off
- Touch the Power Button (usually indicated by a circle with a vertical line) on the touch display to turn the humidifier on or off.
2. Mist Volume Control (3 Gears)
- After turning on the humidifier, touch the Mist Button (often indicated by mist icons) to cycle through the three available mist volume gears (Low, Medium, High).
- The current gear setting will be displayed on the screen.

3. Timer Setting (12 Hours)
- Touch the Timer Button (often indicated by a clock icon) to set the operating time.
- You can set the timer for up to 12 hours. The humidifier will automatically shut off once the set time is reached.

4. Constant Humidity Mode
- The humidifier can maintain a constant humidity level within the range of 45% to 90%.
- To activate or adjust, touch the Humidity Setting Button (if available, or cycle through modes until humidity setting appears).
- The device will automatically stop fogging when the set humidity is reached and resume when it drops below the set value.
5. Digital Display Interpretation
- The LED screen displays real-time temperature and humidity levels.
- It also shows the current mist gear, timer setting, and UV lamp status.

6. UV Lamp Sterilization
- The built-in UV lamp purifies the water source before humidification, ensuring a clean mist output.
- This function operates automatically or can be toggled via the UV Button (if available, indicated by a UV icon).

7. Silent Dark Mode
- For undisturbed sleep, long press the Timer Button (or specific Silent Mode button if present) to activate Silent Dark Mode.
- This mode ensures quiet operation (30dB) and turns off the display light.

Maintenance
Regular cleaning is essential for optimal performance and hygiene. Always unplug the humidifier before cleaning.
1. Daily Maintenance
- Empty any remaining water from the tank and base.
- Rinse the water tank and base with fresh water.
- Wipe the exterior of the unit with a soft, damp cloth.
2. Weekly Cleaning (Descaling)
Mineral deposits (scale) can build up on the transducer and water tank. To remove:
- Unplug the humidifier and remove the water tank.
- Pour 1 cup (240ml) of undiluted white vinegar into the water tank and into the base reservoir.
- Let it soak for 20-30 minutes.
- Use a soft brush or cloth to gently clean the transducer (the small disc in the base) and the inside of the water tank.
- Rinse both the tank and base thoroughly with clean water until the smell of vinegar is gone.
- Allow all parts to air dry completely before reassembling or storing.
3. Storage
If the humidifier will not be used for an extended period:
- Perform a thorough weekly cleaning.
- Ensure all parts are completely dry.
- Store the unit in a cool, dry place, preferably in its original packaging.
