Troubleshooting
If you encounter any issues with your air fryer, please refer to the following common problems and solutions:
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Air fryer does not turn on. | Not plugged in; Power outlet malfunction; Timer not set. | Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into a working, grounded outlet. Check the circuit breaker. Turn the timer knob to the desired cooking time. |
| Food is not cooked evenly. | Basket is overcrowded; Food not shaken or flipped. | Do not overfill the basket. Cook in smaller batches if necessary. Shake or flip food halfway through cooking. |
| Food is not crispy. | Too much moisture; Not enough oil (for certain foods); Temperature too low. | Pat food dry before air frying. For some foods, a light spray of oil can enhance crispiness. Increase temperature if appropriate for the food. |
| White smoke coming from the appliance. | Grease residue from previous use; High-fat food cooking. | Clean the basket and tray thoroughly after each use. For high-fat foods, drain excess fat during cooking or add a small amount of water to the bottom of the outer pan to prevent smoke. |
| Appliance smells like burning plastic. | New unit smell; Overheating. | A slight odor is normal during first few uses. Ensure proper ventilation. If odor persists or is strong, unplug immediately and contact customer support. |
