1. Important Safety Instructions

3. Setup

3.1 Assembly

1. Attach the wheels to the base of the vacuum cleaner unit.
2. Connect the suction hose to the inlet port on the vacuum cleaner unit. Ensure it clicks securely into place.
3. Assemble the two-piece suction tube by twisting the sections together. Attach the desired nozzle (combination, crevice, or upholstery) to the end of the suction tube.
4. Alternatively, attach the suction hose directly to the blowing function outlet for blow-out tasks.

3.2 Battery Installation

1. Ensure the vacuum cleaner is switched off.
2. Open the battery compartment cover on the top of the unit.
3. Insert two fully charged Einhell Power X-Change batteries into the designated slots. Ensure they click into place.
4. Close the battery compartment cover.

3.3 Filter Installation

The correct filter must be installed for the intended cleaning task.

• For Wet Vacuuming: Install the foam filter over the motor housing inside the container. Ensure it covers the motor completely. Do not use a paper dirt collection bag or pleated filter for wet vacuuming.
• For Dry Vacuuming: Install the pleated filter over the motor housing. For optimal dust collection, place a paper dirt collection bag inside the container before installing the pleated filter. Ensure the bag is properly seated around the inlet. Do not use the foam filter for dry vacuuming.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Powering On/Off and Mode Selection

1. Ensure batteries are installed and the correct filter is in place.
2. Press the power button on the top of the unit to turn the vacuum cleaner on.
3. Select the desired operating mode:
   • ECO Mode: Provides extended battery life for longer cleaning tasks with moderate suction power.
   • BOOST Mode: Delivers maximum suction power for stubborn dirt and intensive cleaning.
4. Press the power button again to turn the vacuum cleaner off.

4.2 Wet Vacuuming

For wet vacuuming, ensure the foam filter is installed. Do not use a paper bag or pleated filter.

1. Attach the appropriate nozzle for liquid pickup.
2. Operate the vacuum cleaner to collect liquids. The stainless steel container has a capacity of 25 liters.
3. When the container is full, the float valve will automatically shut off suction to prevent overflow. Turn off the vacuum cleaner immediately.
4. To empty liquids, remove the top unit and pull out the water drain plug located at the bottom of the container.

4.3 Dry Vacuuming

For dry vacuuming, ensure the pleated filter and, optionally, a paper dirt collection bag are installed.

1. Attach the combination nozzle for general floor cleaning, or the crevice/upholstery nozzle for specific areas.
2. Operate the vacuum cleaner to collect dry debris.
3. Regularly check and empty the paper dirt collection bag or clean the pleated filter to maintain optimal suction.

4.4 Blowing Function

The vacuum cleaner can also be used as a blower for clearing debris from hard-to-reach areas.

1. Disconnect the suction hose from the inlet port.
2. Connect the suction hose to the blowing function outlet on the vacuum cleaner unit.
3. Turn on the vacuum cleaner and direct the airflow to clear debris.

4.5 Adjusting Suction Power

The suction power can be adjusted using the incorrect air regulator on the handle of the suction hose. Opening the regulator reduces suction, which can be useful for delicate surfaces or to prevent suctioning small, loose items.

5. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your Einhell wet/dry vacuum cleaner.

5.1 Cleaning the Container

1. After each use, especially after wet vacuuming, empty the container.
2. Wipe the inside of the stainless steel container with a damp cloth and mild detergent if necessary. Rinse thoroughly and allow it to air dry completely before reassembly.

5.2 Filter Cleaning and Replacement

• Foam Filter: After wet vacuuming, rinse the foam filter under running water until clean. Squeeze out excess water and allow it to air dry completely before reuse.
• Pleated Filter: For dry vacuuming, tap the pleated filter gently to dislodge dust. For deeper cleaning, it can be carefully brushed or rinsed with water. Ensure it is completely dry before reinstallation. Replace if damaged or if suction performance significantly decreases.
• Paper Dirt Collection Bag: Replace the paper bag when it is full or when suction power noticeably drops. Do not attempt to reuse or clean paper bags.

5.3 Accessory Cleaning

Clean the suction hose, tubes, and nozzles with water and mild detergent as needed. Ensure all parts are dry before storing.

5.4 Storage

Store the vacuum cleaner and its accessories in a dry, protected area. The integrated accessory holder and suction tube holder on the unit provide convenient storage for nozzles and tubes.
