1. Introduction

The JBL Live PRO+ TWS provides an immersive True Wireless experience with JBL Signature Sound. These in-ear headphones feature Adaptive Noise Cancelling for distraction-free listening and Smart Ambient technology to keep you aware of your surroundings. With up to 28 hours of combined battery life and Qi-compatible wireless charging, your audio experience is extended throughout the day. The integrated 3-mic technology ensures clear call quality.

2. What's in the Box

Verify that all the following items are included in your product package:

• 1 x JBL Live Pro+ TWS Earbuds
• 1 x Type-C to Type-A Charging Cable
• 5 Sizes of Ear Tips (S, M, L, XL, XXL)
• 1 x Charging Case
• 1 x Quick Start Guide / Safety Sheet
• 1 x Warranty / Warning Card

3. Setup

3.1. Charging the Earbuds and Case

Before first use, fully charge the earbuds and the charging case. The charging case provides additional battery life for the earbuds.

• Charging the Case: Connect the supplied USB-C to USB-A charging cable to the USB-C port on the back of the charging case and a power source. The LED indicators on the front of the case will show charging status.
• Wireless Charging: The case supports Qi-compatible wireless charging. Place the case on a compatible wireless charging pad.
• Charging the Earbuds: Place the earbuds into the charging case. They will automatically begin charging. The LED indicators on the earbuds (if visible) or the case will indicate charging status.

3.2. Bluetooth Pairing

To connect your JBL Live PRO+ TWS headphones to a device:

1. Open the charging case. The earbuds will automatically enter pairing mode.
2. On your device (smartphone, tablet, computer), go to the Bluetooth settings.
3. Select "JBL Live PRO+ TWS" from the list of available devices.
4. Once connected, you will hear an audible confirmation, and the earbuds' indicator lights will change.

For subsequent uses, the earbuds will automatically connect to the last paired device when taken out of the case.

4. Operating the Headphones

4.1. Controls

The JBL Live PRO+ TWS earbuds feature touch controls for various functions:

• Music Playback: Tap to play/pause, double-tap for next track, triple-tap for previous track.
• Call Management: Tap to answer/end call, double-tap to reject call.
• Voice Assistant: Tap and hold to activate your preferred voice assistant (Hey Google or Amazon Alexa).

4.2. Adaptive Noise Cancelling (ANC) and Smart Ambient

These earbuds offer advanced audio control features:

• Adaptive Noise Cancelling: Reduces external noise for an undisturbed listening experience. This is ideal for focusing on audio in noisy environments.
• Smart Ambient: Allows you to hear your surroundings without removing the earbuds. This feature is useful for staying aware of traffic or conversations while listening to audio.

These modes can typically be toggled via the touch controls or through the dedicated JBL App.

4.3. Clear Microphone Technology

The Live PRO+ TWS incorporates 3-mic technology to ensure crystal-clear call quality. A feedback microphone suppresses wind and environmental noise, while dual beamforming microphones capture your voice with precision.

4.4. Voice Assistant Integration

The earbuds support hands-free activation of Hey Google and Amazon Alexa. You can activate your preferred voice assistant by voice command or a tap on the earbud. Use the JBL App to customize your voice assistant settings.

Note: Android 6.0 or higher is required for full access to Alexa features when using this device.

5. Maintenance

5.1. Cleaning

Regular cleaning helps maintain sound quality and earbud longevity:

• Gently wipe the earbuds and charging case with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth.
• For ear tips, remove them from the earbuds and clean with a damp cloth and mild soap if necessary, then rinse and dry thoroughly before reattaching.
• Clean the charging contacts on both the earbuds and inside the case using a dry cotton swab to ensure proper charging.

5.2. Storage

When not in use, store the earbuds in their charging case to protect them and keep them charged. Store the case in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.

6. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your JBL Live PRO+ TWS, try the following solutions:

• No Sound: Ensure earbuds are charged and properly paired. Check volume levels on both earbuds and the connected device.
• Pairing Issues: Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your device. Try unpairing and re-pairing the earbuds. Ensure no other Bluetooth devices are interfering.
• Earbuds Not Charging: Clean the charging contacts on both earbuds and the case. Ensure the charging cable is securely connected or the wireless charging pad is active and correctly positioned.
• Poor Call Quality: Ensure microphones are clean and unobstructed. Check your network connection.
• Intermittent Connection: Move closer to your device. Avoid environments with strong Wi-Fi or other wireless interference.
