4. Product Overview
4.1 Robot Top View
- Power/Clean Button: Press to start/pause cleaning. Hold to power on/off.
- Recharge Button: Press to send the robot back to the charging dock.

4.3 Dustbin and Water Tank

5. Setup
5.1 Installing Side Brushes
- Flip the robot over.
- Align the side brushes with the square posts on the bottom of the robot.
- Press down until they click into place.
5.2 Placing the Charging Dock
- Place the charging dock against a wall in an open, uncluttered area.
- Ensure there is at least 0.5 meters (1.6 feet) of clear space on both sides of the dock and 1.5 meters (4.9 feet) in front of it.
- Connect the power adapter to the charging dock and plug the other end into a wall outlet.
5.3 Initial Charging
Before first use, fully charge the robot. Place the robot on the charging dock, ensuring the charging contacts align. The power indicator will show charging status. A full charge takes approximately 4-5 hours.
5.4 Connecting to the JASHEN App
For full control and advanced features, download the JASHEN app on your smartphone.
- Download the "JASHEN" app from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android).
- Register an account and log in.
- Follow the in-app instructions to add your S10 robot. Ensure your phone is connected to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network.

5.5 Setting Boundaries (Optional)
The JASHEN S10 allows you to set virtual boundaries using physical boundary strips (included) to restrict the robot from entering certain areas.
- Place the boundary strips on the floor in front of areas you want the robot to avoid (e.g., pet bowls, delicate furniture, stairs).
- Ensure the strips are flat and securely placed. The robot will detect these strips and not cross them.

6. Operating the Robot
6.1 Cleaning Modes
The JASHEN S10 offers multiple cleaning modes to suit your needs:
- Auto Clean: The robot intelligently navigates and cleans the entire floor area using a logical Z-shape route.

- Spot Clean: The robot intensely cleans a specific area in a spiral pattern. Useful for concentrated dirt or spills.
- Edge Clean: The robot cleans along walls and furniture edges.
- Vacuum Only: The robot only vacuums, suitable for carpets or when mopping is not desired.
- Vacuum & Mop: The robot vacuums and mops simultaneously. Ensure the water tank is filled and the mop pad is attached.
6.2 Suction Power Adjustment
The S10 features adjustable suction power, including a Carpet Boost function for deeper cleaning on carpets.

6.3 Scheduling Cleanings
You can schedule cleaning times using the JASHEN app. This allows the robot to automatically start cleaning at your preferred times, even when you're not home.
6.4 Voice Control
The JASHEN S10 is compatible with popular voice assistants. Once connected via the app, you can use voice commands to start, stop, or send the robot back to its charging dock.
7. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your JASHEN S10.
7.1 Emptying the Dustbin
Empty the dustbin after each use or when the "bin full" indicator appears in the app.
- Press the dustbin release button and pull out the dustbin.
- Open the dustbin lid and empty its contents into a trash can.
7.2 Cleaning the Filter
Clean the filter weekly. Replace it every 3-6 months, depending on usage.
- Remove the filter from the dustbin.
- Tap the filter gently to remove dust. Do not wash the HEPA filter with water.
- Brush off any remaining debris with the cleaning tool.
7.3 Cleaning the Main Brush
Clean the main brush weekly to remove tangled hair and debris.
- Remove the main brush cover and lift out the main brush.
- Use the cleaning tool to cut and remove any hair or fibers wrapped around the brush.
- Reinstall the main brush and cover.
7.4 Cleaning Side Brushes
Check side brushes monthly for wear and tear. Clean them as needed.
- Remove the side brushes by pulling them upwards.
- Remove any hair or debris.
- If brushes are worn, replace them with new ones.
7.5 Water Tank and Mop Pad Maintenance
After each mopping session:
- Empty any remaining water from the water tank.
- Remove the mop pad and wash it thoroughly. Air dry before reattaching or storing.
- Do not add cleaning solutions to the water tank; use water only as per manufacturer recommendations.
7.6 Cleaning Sensors and Charging Contacts
Wipe the cliff sensors and charging contacts on both the robot and the charging dock with a clean, dry cloth monthly.
