4. Operating Instructions

This section details the steps for washing clothes with your Auertech portable washing machine.

  1. Load Clothes: Open the transparent lid and place clothes into the wash tub. Do not exceed the maximum load capacity of 5.5 pounds. For best results, avoid mixing heavy items with delicate ones.
  2. Add Detergent: Pour the appropriate amount of liquid laundry detergent directly into the wash tub with the clothes.
  3. Fill with Water: Turn on the water source and allow water to fill the tub to the desired level. The transparent lid allows you to monitor the water level.
  4. Set Wash Time: Turn the 'Time Selection' knob to set the desired wash duration. The maximum wash cycle is 15 minutes.
  5. Start Washing: Turn the 'Program Selection' knob to 'Wash' to begin the washing cycle. The pulsator at the bottom of the tub will agitate the clothes.
  6. Drain Water: Once the wash cycle is complete, turn the 'Program Selection' knob to 'Drain' to empty the dirty water through the drain hose.
  7. Rinse Cycle (Manual): Since this is a single-tub machine without a spin cycle, a manual rinse is required. After draining the wash water, refill the tub with clean water, set the 'Time Selection' knob for a short duration (e.g., 3-6 minutes), and turn the 'Program Selection' knob to 'Wash' to rinse the clothes. Repeat if necessary.
  8. Final Drain: After rinsing, turn the 'Program Selection' knob to 'Drain' to remove the rinse water.
  9. Remove Clothes: Carefully remove the washed and rinsed clothes. Note that clothes will be wet and will require manual wringing or air drying.

  • Cleaning the Tub: After each use, wipe the inside of the tub with a soft cloth to remove any residue. For deeper cleaning, you can run a short cycle with clean water and a small amount of white vinegar.
  • Exterior Cleaning: Clean the exterior of the machine with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Drain Hose: Ensure the drain hose is clear of blockages. Periodically check for any kinks or damage.
  • Storage: When not in use for an extended period, ensure the machine is completely dry. Store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
  • Unplug: Always unplug the machine from the power outlet before cleaning or maintenance.
