General Safety Information

Always follow basic safety precautions when using power tools to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and personal injury. Failure to follow these instructions may result in serious injury.

  • Work Area Safety: Keep the work area clean and well-lit. Cluttered or dark areas invite accidents. Do not operate power tools in explosive atmospheres, such as in the presence of flammable liquids, gases, or dust.
  • Electrical Safety: Power tool plugs must match the outlet. Never modify the plug in any way. Avoid body contact with earthed or grounded surfaces (e.g., pipes, radiators, ranges, refrigerators) as there is an increased risk of electric shock if your body is earthed or grounded.
  • Personal Safety: Always wear eye protection. Use hearing protection when operating power tools for extended periods. Dress properly; avoid loose clothing or jewelry that can be caught in moving parts.
  • Tool Use and Care: Do not force the power tool. Use the correct power tool for your application. Disconnect the plug from the power source and/or remove the battery pack before making any adjustments, changing accessories, or storing power tools.

Operating Instructions

Powering On/Off:

To turn the tool on, depress the trigger. To turn the tool off, release the trigger. The tool will stop immediately upon trigger release.

Direction of Rotation (Forward/Reverse):

The direction of rotation is controlled by the forward/reverse selector switch located above the trigger. Push the switch to the left for forward rotation (tightening) and to the right for reverse rotation (loosening). Position the switch in the center to lock the trigger and prevent accidental starting.

4-Mode Selector:

The impact wrench features a 4-mode selector button to adjust speed and torque for different applications. Press the mode selector button to cycle through the available modes, indicated by LED lights on the tool:

  • Mode 1 (Low Speed): Provides lower torque and speed, suitable for delicate applications or when precise control is required.
  • Mode 2 (Medium Speed): Offers balanced speed and torque for general fastening and loosening tasks.
  • Mode 3 (High Speed): Delivers maximum torque and speed, ideal for breaking loose stubborn fasteners or high-torque applications.
  • Auto Mode: This intelligent mode is designed to prevent over-tightening and over-loosening. When fastening, it will stop impacting once a certain torque is reached. When loosening, it will reduce speed once the fastener is broken loose to prevent it from flying off.

Tip: Always start with a lower mode and increase as needed to avoid damaging fasteners or workpieces. Test on a scrap piece if unsure.

Using the Tri-Beam LED Worklights:

The Tri-Beam LED worklights illuminate automatically when the trigger is depressed, providing improved visibility of your work area. They turn off when the trigger is released.
