3. Setup
3.1 Package Contents
Verify that all items are present in the package:

Note: 3 C/LR14 alkaline batteries are required and are not included in the package.
3.2 Battery Installation
To install the batteries:
- Unscrew the tail cap of the flashlight by turning it counter-clockwise.
- Insert three C/LR14 alkaline batteries into the battery compartment, ensuring the correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the flashlight.
- Screw the tail cap back on clockwise until it is securely tightened.

3.3 Attaching the Wrist Strap
To attach the wrist strap:
- Locate the small loop hole on the tail cap of the flashlight.
- Thread the thin loop end of the wrist strap through this hole.
- Pass the larger strap end through the thin loop and pull to secure it.
4. Operation
4.1 Power On/Off and Mode Selection
The flashlight features a single button on the tail cap for power control and mode cycling:
- First Press: Turns the flashlight ON at 100% brightness.
- Second Press (within 2 seconds): Switches to 30% brightness mode.
- Third Press (within 2 seconds): Turns the flashlight OFF.
- If the flashlight remains in a mode for more than 2 seconds, the next press will turn it OFF directly.

4.2 Focus Adjustment
The Maximus M-FL-007B features a continuous focus adjustment mechanism:
- To adjust the beam, gently slide the head of the flashlight forward or backward.
- Sliding the head forward will narrow the beam, creating a focused spotlight for long-distance illumination.
- Sliding the head backward will widen the beam, creating a broad floodlight for illuminating a larger area.
