You can arm or disarm your alarm system using the DreamCatcher Life App, the provided remote control, or voice commands via Google Assistant or Alexa.

4.2. Sensor Functionality
The motion sensor detects movement within its range, triggering an alarm when the system is armed. The door/window contact sensor detects when a protected door or window is opened. Ensure all sensors are correctly placed and paired for optimal security.
5. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your alarm system:
- Cleaning: Gently wipe the alarm hub and sensors with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Battery Replacement: Sensors are typically battery-powered. Replace batteries as indicated by the app or device's low battery warning. Use only recommended battery types.
- Software Updates: Keep the DreamCatcher Life App updated to the latest version. The alarm hub's firmware may also receive updates, which can be managed through the app.
- Connectivity Check: Periodically check the Wi-Fi connection of your alarm system and sensors to ensure they are online and communicating effectively.
6. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your ISNATCH HOMEDEFENSE system, try the following solutions:
- Device Not Found During Setup: Ensure the device is powered on and in pairing mode. Check your Wi-Fi network (2.4GHz only). Try resetting the device.
- Connectivity Issues: Verify your Wi-Fi router is working correctly. Ensure the alarm hub is within range of your Wi-Fi signal. Restart the alarm hub and your router.
- False Alarms: Check sensor placement to avoid accidental triggers (e.g., motion sensor facing a window with moving curtains). Adjust sensor sensitivity if available.
- Alexa Not Responding: Re-link the DreamCatcher Life skill in the Alexa App. Ensure your Alexa device is online and connected to the same network.
- How to Reset Chuango Indoor Camera: Press and hold the setup button underneath the camera lens. After about 3 seconds, you will hear a long beep. Keep holding the button until you hear two short beeps to indicate that the reset was successful.
