Maintenance
Water Resistance
Your watch is marked "WATER 50M RESIST", indicating it is suitable for casual swimming, showering, and general water exposure. It is not recommended for diving or prolonged underwater use. Do not operate buttons while the watch is wet or submerged.
Cleaning
Wipe the watch with a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn dirt, use a soft cloth dampened with water and a mild neutral detergent, then wipe dry. Avoid using volatile agents like thinner or benzine, as they may damage the resin components.
Battery Replacement
The watch is powered by one Lithium Metal battery. When the display becomes dim or the backlight weakens, it is time to replace the battery. Battery replacement should ideally be performed by a qualified watch technician to ensure proper sealing and water resistance.
Troubleshooting
- Display is blank or dim: The battery may be low or depleted. Replace the battery.
- Time is incorrect: Re-set the time and date according to the "Setting the Time and Date" section. Ensure the 12/24-hour format is set as desired.
- Buttons are unresponsive: Ensure the watch is not wet. If the issue persists, a reset may be required (consult a service center) or the battery may be critically low.
- Water inside the watch: Immediately take the watch to a qualified service center. Do not attempt to open the watch yourself, as this will void the warranty and compromise water resistance.
