Setup and Installation
The Legrand Wiremold RDSZCWH Power Center is designed for easy installation into various furniture surfaces. Follow these steps carefully.
Tools Required:
- Measuring Tape or Ruler
- Pencil or Marker
- Jigsaw or appropriate cutting tool for your furniture material
- Screwdriver (for tightening clamps)
Installation Steps:
- Choose Location: Select a suitable location on your furniture. The unit can be mounted vertically or horizontally. Ensure the surface thickness is between 3/8 inch and 1-1/4 inches.
- Mark Cutout: Using a pencil or marker, carefully mark the cutout area on your furniture. The required cutout size is 6 5/8 inches x 2 inches. Ensure you have sufficient clearance around the cutout: 7 1/8 inches x 2 1/2 inches on the front side (1/4 inch all around) and 1 1/8 inches x 2 inches on the back side (on both ends).

- Cut Opening: Carefully cut the marked opening using a jigsaw or appropriate cutting tool. Ensure clean edges.
- Insert Unit: Insert the power center unit into the cut opening. Ensure it sits flush with the furniture surface.
- Tighten Clamps: From the underside of the furniture, tighten the integrated clamps to secure the unit firmly in place.
- Attach Bezel: Snap the decorative bezel onto the front of the unit for a finished look.
- Plug In: Connect the power center's integrated 6-foot cord to a standard 125V AC wall outlet. The cord features a plug pass-through, allowing you to connect to an outlet even if another plug is already in use.

Operating Instructions
Once installed and plugged in, the Legrand Wiremold RDSZCWH Power Center is ready for use.
- AC Outlets: Plug your standard electrical devices into the two 3-prong AC outlets.
- USB Charging Ports: Connect your mobile devices to the USB Type-A or USB Type-C ports for charging. The total output for both USB ports is 5V, 3.1A.
- Integrated Switch: If you have connected a lighting fixture or other corded device to one of the AC outlets and wish to control it via the integrated switch, press the square button with the lightbulb icon to toggle power on or off to that specific outlet. The green indicator light above the switch will illuminate when the controlled outlet is powered on.
