Setup
1. Initial Charging
Before first use, ensure your HUAWEI FreeBuds 4i and their charging case are fully charged. Connect the charging case to a power source using a USB-C cable. The indicator light on the case will show charging status.
2. Pairing with Your Device
For HUAWEI devices running EMUI 10.0 or later:
- Open the charging case with the earbuds inside, and hold it close to your HUAWEI phone or tablet.
- A pop-up notification will appear on your device, prompting you to pair. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the pairing process.
- Once paired, the earbuds will automatically connect to your device whenever you open the charging case.
For other devices (Bluetooth pairing):
- Open the charging case. Press and hold the Function button on the side of the charging case for 2 seconds until the indicator light flashes white. This indicates the earbuds are in pairing mode.
- On your device, go to Bluetooth settings and select "HUAWEI FreeBuds 4i" from the list of available devices.
- Confirm the pairing.
