2.1 Components

3. Setup and Installation
Proper installation is crucial for the safe and efficient operation of your washing machine. It is recommended to have the appliance installed by a qualified technician.
3.1 Unpacking
- Remove all packaging materials, including the polystyrene base and any protective film.
- Important: Locate and remove the transit bolts from the rear of the machine. These bolts secure the drum during transport and must be removed before operation to prevent damage. Keep them for future transport.
3.2 Location Requirements
- Place the machine on a firm, level surface to minimize vibration and noise.
- Ensure there is adequate space for ventilation around the machine.
- Avoid direct sunlight or extreme temperatures.
3.3 Water Supply Connection
- Connect the inlet hose to a cold water tap with a 3/4-inch thread.
- Ensure all connections are tight to prevent leaks.
3.4 Drain Hose Connection
- Secure the drain hose to a standpipe or over the edge of a sink, ensuring it is not kinked.
- The drain hose should be positioned at a height between 60 cm and 100 cm from the floor.
3.5 Power Connection
- Plug the power cord into a dedicated, grounded electrical outlet.
- Do not use extension cords or adapters.
4. Operating Instructions
Follow these steps for optimal washing results.
4.1 Preparing Laundry
- Sort laundry by fabric type, color, and degree of soiling.
- Check garment care labels for washing instructions.
- Empty pockets and close zippers and hooks to prevent damage.
4.2 Loading Laundry
- Open the washing machine door.
- Place laundry loosely into the drum, ensuring not to overload. The maximum capacity is 8 kg.
- Close the door firmly until it clicks.
4.3 Adding Detergent and Softener
- Pull out the detergent dispenser drawer.
- Add appropriate amounts of detergent to the main wash compartment (II) and pre-wash compartment (I) if required.
- Add fabric softener to the softener compartment (flower symbol).
- Push the dispenser drawer back in completely.
4.4 Selecting a Wash Program
- Turn the program selection knob to choose the desired wash cycle. Available cycles include: Normal, Heavy Duty, Delicates, Quick Wash, Rinse.
- The digital display will show the default settings for the selected program.
4.5 Adjusting Settings (Optional)
- Use the control panel buttons to adjust temperature, spin speed, or add extra rinse options if available for the selected program.
4.6 Starting the Cycle
- Press the 'Start/Pause' button to begin the wash cycle.
- The door will lock, and the machine will start filling with water.
4.7 Pausing/Canceling a Cycle
- To pause, press the 'Start/Pause' button. The door may unlock if the water level and temperature are safe.
- To cancel, press and hold the 'Start/Pause' button for a few seconds, or turn the program knob to 'Off'. The machine will drain the water.
4.8 End of Cycle
- The machine will signal the end of the cycle (e.g., with a beep or display message).
- The door will unlock. Open the door and remove the laundry promptly to prevent wrinkles.
- Leave the door slightly ajar to allow the drum to air dry and prevent odors.
5. Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your washing machine.
5.1 Cleaning the Detergent Dispenser
- Pull out the dispenser drawer completely.
- Remove any removable parts and rinse them under running water.
- Clean the inside of the dispenser housing with a brush.
- Reassemble and reinsert the drawer.
5.2 Cleaning the Drum
- Run a maintenance wash cycle (e.g., a hot wash with no laundry and a descaling agent or washing machine cleaner) periodically to remove detergent residue and odors.
5.3 Cleaning the Door Seal
- Wipe the rubber door seal after each wash to remove lint, dirt, and moisture. This prevents mold and odors.
5.4 Cleaning the Drain Pump Filter
- Open the cover at the bottom front of the machine.
- Place a shallow container to catch any residual water.
- Slowly unscrew the filter counter-clockwise.
- Remove any lint, coins, or foreign objects from the filter and its housing.
- Rinse the filter under running water and screw it back in tightly. Close the cover.
5.5 Exterior Cleaning
- Wipe the exterior surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
6. Troubleshooting
