• Professional Installation Required: This system mandates professional installation. It is not a DIY mini split AC. Improper installation can lead to electric shock, fire, or serious injury.

4. Setup and Installation

Installation of this mini split system requires professional expertise. The following is a general overview of the installation process. Do not attempt self-installation unless you are a certified HVAC technician.

1. Site Selection: Choose appropriate locations for both the indoor and outdoor units, ensuring adequate clearance for airflow and maintenance. The indoor unit should be mounted at least 8 inches from the ceiling.
2. Mounting Plate Installation: Securely attach the indoor unit's mounting plate to the wall using the provided screws and anchors, ensuring it is level.
3. Wall Hole Drilling: Drill a 2 3/4 inch (70mm) hole through the wall for the refrigerant pipes, drain line, and communication cable.
4. Piping and Wiring: Connect the refrigerant pipes, drain line, and communication cable between the indoor and outdoor units. Ensure all connections are tight and properly insulated. Line-set vacuuming is required during installation.

6. Vacuuming and Refrigerant Release: A vacuum pump and manifold gauge set are required to evacuate the line set. Once vacuumed, carefully open the refrigerant ports.
