3. Product Overview
The NEEWER P200 RGB LED Video Light is a versatile lighting solution featuring bi-color and full RGB modes, app control, and multiple power options. Understanding its components is essential for effective use.
3.1 Light Panel Features

3.2 Back Panel Controls and Interfaces

4. Setup Instructions
4.1 Assembling the Light Stand
- Unfold the legs of the light stand until they are fully extended and stable.
- Extend the central column to the desired height. Secure each section using the locking mechanisms.
- Ensure all locking mechanisms are tightened to prevent accidental collapse.

4.2 Attaching the Light Panel
- Attach the U-bracket to the top of the light stand's universal interface. Tighten the bracket fixing knob.
- Slide the P200 LED panel into the U-bracket and secure it using the side knobs on the U-bracket.
- Adjust the angle of the light panel as needed.
4.3 Powering the Light
The P200 light offers two power options:
- Battery Power (for outdoor use): Insert two charged NP-F550 batteries into the battery compartments on the back of the light panel. Ensure correct polarity.
- AC Power (for indoor use): Connect the provided power adapter to the DC power input port on the back of the light, then plug the adapter into a wall outlet.

4.4 Charging Batteries
Use the provided dual-slot battery charger and USB charging cable to recharge the NP-F550 batteries. The charger features an intelligent protection system to prevent overcharging and other issues. A full charge for two batteries takes approximately 6 hours.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Power On/Off
Flip the power switch on the back of the light panel to turn the light on or off. The LED display will illuminate upon power-on.
5.2 Manual Control
All parameters can be adjusted directly using the knobs and switches on the back panel:
- Brightness: Rotate the Brightness Adjustment Knob to set the light intensity from 0% to 100%.
- Mode Selection: Press the Mode/Channel Switch to cycle through CCT (Bi-color), HSI (RGB), and Scene modes.
- Channel Selection: In any mode, press and hold the Mode/Channel Switch to select a channel (1-9) for app control.
5.3 CCT Mode (Bi-color)
In CCT mode, you can adjust the color temperature and brightness.
- Color Temperature: Rotate the Multifunctional Adjustment Knob to change the color temperature from 3200K (warm) to 5600K (cool).
- Brightness: Use the Brightness Adjustment Knob to adjust intensity.

5.4 HSI Mode (RGB Full Color)
In HSI mode, you can adjust Hue, Saturation, and Intensity (Brightness).
- Hue: Rotate the Multifunctional Adjustment Knob to select a hue from 0° to 360° for full-color output.
- Saturation: Press the Multifunctional Adjustment Knob to switch to saturation adjustment, then rotate to set saturation from 0% to 100%.
- Brightness: Use the Brightness Adjustment Knob to adjust intensity.

5.5 Scene Mode
The P200 offers 9 preset scene modes for various lighting effects. In Scene mode, rotate the Multifunctional Adjustment Knob to select from the available scenes (e.g., Cop Car, Fire Truck, Party, Lightning).
5.6 App Control
The NEEWER P200 can be controlled wirelessly via a smartphone app (compatible with iOS 11.1+ and Android 4.3+).
- Download the App: Search for "NEEWER" in your smartphone's app store (Apple App Store or Google Play Store) and download the official NEEWER app.
- Enable Bluetooth: Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone.
- Connect to Light: Open the NEEWER app. The app should automatically detect the "NEEWER-RGB-P200" light. Select it to connect.
- Adjust Settings: Once connected, you can adjust brightness, color temperature, hue, saturation, and select scene modes directly from the app interface. The app also supports multi-channel remote control and parameter saving for groups of lights.

6. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the light panel and housing. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Storage: When not in use, store the light kit in the provided carrying case in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture.
- Battery Care: For long-term storage, charge batteries to approximately 50% and remove them from the light. Recharge them every 3-6 months to maintain battery health.
- Barndoors: The metal barndoors can be closed when not in use to protect the LED beads.
7. Troubleshooting
- Light not turning on:
- Ensure batteries are fully charged and correctly inserted, or the AC power adapter is securely connected and plugged into a working outlet.
- Check the power switch position.
- App not connecting to the light:
- Verify Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone.
- Ensure the light is powered on and within the 15-20 meter maximum range of app control.
- Restart the NEEWER app and try reconnecting.
- Check if the light's channel setting matches the app's selected channel.
- Inconsistent light output:
- Check battery levels; low power can affect performance.
- Ensure no obstructions are blocking the light panel.
