Setup Guide
1. Download the Cync App
Download the latest version of the Cync App, powered by Savant, from your mobile device's app store. Create an account or log in if you already have one.
2. Power On the Camera
Plug the camera into a power outlet using the provided 10ft power cord and power supply. The camera's LED indicator should begin blinking blue, indicating it's ready for setup. If the light is not blinking blue, use a pinhole tool to press the reset button on the back of the device.

3. Pair with the Cync App
Follow the in-app instructions to add your new Cync Indoor Smart Camera. This typically involves scanning a QR code displayed on your phone screen with the camera lens to establish a connection to your Wi-Fi network.
4. Name Your Camera and Assign to a Room
Once connected, you will be prompted to name your camera (e.g., "Living Room Camera") and assign it to a specific room within the Cync App for easier management and voice control.
5. Optional: Integrate with Voice Assistants
For voice control, link your Cync account with Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant through their respective apps. Search for the "Cync" skill/action and follow the linking process.
Operating Instructions
Live View and Two-Way Audio
Access the live 1080p HD video feed from your Cync App at any time. Use the two-way audio feature to listen in or speak through the camera's built-in speaker and microphone.
Privacy Shutter
The camera features a physical privacy shutter. Slide the shutter to physically block the camera lens and disable the microphone for complete privacy when desired. The app also allows you to digitally enable a privacy mode.

Night Vision
The camera automatically switches to night vision in low-light conditions, providing clear black-and-white footage up to 40 feet. This ensures continuous monitoring, day or night.
Motion, Sound, and People Detection
Configure the camera to send instant mobile alerts upon detecting motion, sound, or people. Adjust sensitivity settings and define specific motion zones within the Cync App to minimize false alarms.
Recording and Storage
Record footage to a microSD card (sold separately, up to 128GB capacity) for local storage, or utilize the optional secure Cloud storage service for event-based recordings and easy access.
Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the camera lens and body. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Firmware Updates: Ensure your camera's firmware is always up-to-date through the Cync App to benefit from the latest features and security enhancements.
- Placement: Periodically check the camera's placement to ensure it remains secure and provides the desired viewing angle.
