Operating Instructions
1. Powering On and Pairing
Turn on both the transmitter and the receiver. They should automatically pair. The receiver's "Matching success Indicator" will illuminate when a stable connection is established.
2. Changing Channels
The system offers 32 selectable channels. If you experience frequency interference, simply tap the power/frequency switch button on the transmitter to change to a different channel. This helps in finding a clear signal.
3. Microphone Usage
Choose between the lavalier microphone and the headset microphone based on your needs:
- Lavalier Microphone: This omnidirectional microphone is ideal for general voice capture, interviews, and situations where a discreet microphone is preferred. Ensure the screw cap on the microphone is tightened to prevent howling or noise.
- Headset Microphone: For occasions requiring higher sound clarity and effective environmental noise filtering, such as public speaking or teaching, the headset microphone is recommended.

4. Optimal Transmission Range
The wireless microphone system can achieve a transmission distance of up to 165 feet (50 meters) in open, obstacle-free environments. For best performance, maintain a clear line of sight between the transmitter and receiver.

Maintenance
To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your GoorDik Wireless Lavalier Microphone System, follow these maintenance guidelines:
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the surfaces of the transmitter and receiver. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
- Storage: Store the system in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. When not in use for extended periods, ensure the batteries are partially charged (around 50%) to preserve battery health.
- Battery Care: The built-in 750mAh Lithium Polymer batteries are rechargeable. Avoid overcharging or completely draining the batteries frequently. Charge them regularly, especially if the system has not been used for a while.
- Microphone Wind Muffs: The included wind muffs help reduce plosive sounds and wind noise. Replace them if they become worn or damaged to maintain sound quality.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your GoorDik Wireless Lavalier Microphone System, consider the following common solutions:
- No Sound or Low Volume:
- Ensure both the transmitter and receiver are powered on and fully charged.
- Verify that the microphone is securely plugged into the transmitter's 3.5mm jack and the screw cap is tightened. A loose connection can cause poor contact.
- Check the connection to your recording device (camera, phone, PC, PA system) and ensure the correct adapter (TRRS/TRS) is used.
- Adjust the volume settings on your connected recording device or amplifier.
- Howling or Noise:
- Ensure the screw cap on the microphone is tightened. This is a common cause of howling and noise due to disconnection and poor contact.
- Change the operating frequency/channel by tapping the power/frequency switch button on the transmitter. Interference from other wireless devices can cause noise.
- Reduce the distance between the microphone and the speaker/audio output device to prevent feedback.
- Ensure you are not too close to other electronic devices that might cause interference.
- Intermittent Connection or Short Range:
- Ensure both units are fully charged.
- Try changing the channel on the transmitter.
- Minimize obstacles between the transmitter and receiver. The optimal range is achieved in open, obstacle-free environments.
- Avoid using the system near strong electromagnetic fields.
- Device Not Recognized by Computer/Phone:
- Confirm you are using the correct TRRS or TRS adapter for your device's audio jack configuration.
- For iPhones 7 and above, ensure you are using an original Apple Lightning to 3.5mm Headphone Jack Adapter (not included).
- Remember, the system is not compatible with Bluetooth speakers or MacBooks.
