1. Important Safety Instructions
Always read and understand all safety instructions before operating the lawnmower. Failure to follow these instructions can result in serious injury or property damage. Keep this manual for future reference.
- Personal Protective Equipment: Always wear sturdy footwear, long trousers, and eye protection when operating the lawnmower. Avoid loose clothing that could get caught in moving parts.
- Children and Bystanders: Keep children and bystanders at a safe distance (at least 15 meters) from the operating area. Never allow children to operate the lawnmower.
- Fuel Handling: Handle fuel with extreme care. It is highly flammable. Store fuel in approved containers in a cool, well-ventilated area. Never refuel a hot engine or while the engine is running.
- Operating Conditions: Operate the lawnmower only in daylight or good artificial light. Avoid operating on wet grass, which can cause slipping. Be extra careful when changing direction on slopes.
- Inspection: Before each use, inspect the lawnmower for loose parts, damaged blades, or fuel leaks. Do not operate if any damage is found.
- Stopping the Engine: Always stop the engine and disconnect the spark plug wire before performing any maintenance, cleaning, or clearing blockages.

5. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your lawnmower. Always ensure the engine is off and the spark plug cap is removed before performing any maintenance.
5.1 Cleaning
- After each use, clean the underside of the mower deck to prevent grass buildup, which can affect cutting performance.
- Clean the exterior of the engine and housing with a damp cloth. Do not use high-pressure washers directly on the engine.
- Empty and clean the grass catcher regularly.
5.2 Blade Care
Inspect the cutting blade regularly for sharpness and damage. A dull or damaged blade can lead to poor cutting quality and increased engine strain. Blades should be sharpened or replaced by a qualified service technician.
5.3 Engine Maintenance
- Oil Change: Change the engine oil after the first 5 hours of operation, then every 25 hours or annually, whichever comes first.
- Air Filter: Clean the air filter regularly, especially in dusty conditions. Replace if damaged.
- Spark Plug: Inspect and clean the spark plug annually. Replace if worn or fouled.
5.4 Storage
For long-term storage, ensure the fuel tank is empty or treated with a fuel stabilizer. Clean the lawnmower thoroughly and store it in a dry, well-ventilated area. The foldable handle allows for compact storage.
