Introduction

Welcome to the exciting world of LaserX! The LaserX Micro B Blasters bring the thrill of a laser tag arena directly to your home or backyard. These blasters allow you to engage opponents up to 100 feet away. A key feature is that no separate receiver vests are needed; the receivers are built directly into the blasters themselves. The blaster beams are designed to pass through windows and can strategically bounce off walls and mirrors, adding an extra layer of challenge to your games. For expanded play, these blasters are fully compatible with all other Laser X gear, enabling games with an unlimited number of players.

What's in the Box

Setup

1. Battery Installation: Each LaserX Micro B Blaster requires 3 x AAA (1.5V) batteries. Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the blaster handle. Use a small Phillips head screwdriver to open the compartment, insert the batteries according to the polarity indicators (+/-), and securely close the compartment. (Batteries are not included).
2. Power On: Locate the ON/OFF switch on the side of the blaster. Slide the switch to the 'ON' position. The blaster will light up, indicating it is ready for play.
3. Select Team Color: On the back of each blaster, there is a dial. Turn this dial to select your desired team color. The top portion of the blaster will illuminate in your chosen color.

Operating Instructions

1. Starting a Game: Once powered on and team colors are selected, blasters are ready for immediate play. There is no complex setup required for game initiation.
2. Shooting: Aim your blaster at an opponent's blaster and press the trigger to fire. The blaster has a range of up to 100 feet.
3. Being Hit: When your blaster is hit by an opponent's laser, the green light on the bottom of your blaster will turn red, indicating you have been hit. Each blaster has a limited number of 'lives' or hits before it is out of the game.
4. Reloading: After approximately 10 shots, your blaster will need to be reloaded. To reload, simply hold down the trigger for a few seconds until the blaster indicates it is reloaded (e.g., a sound cue or light change).
5. Compatibility: LaserX Micro B Blasters are designed to be fully compatible with all other Laser X gear. This means you can expand your game with additional blasters or accessories from the Laser X line, allowing for larger and more dynamic laser tag battles.

Maintenance

• Cleaning: To clean your blasters, wipe them with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the blasters in water.
• Storage: When not in use, store the blasters in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. If storing for an extended period, it is recommended to remove the batteries to prevent leakage and damage.
• Battery Care: Always use fresh batteries of the same type and brand. Do not mix old and new batteries, or different types of batteries. Dispose of used batteries responsibly.

Troubleshooting

• Blaster Not Powering On: Ensure batteries are correctly installed and are fresh. Check that the ON/OFF switch is fully in the 'ON' position.
• Blaster Not Firing or Registering Hits: Verify that the blaster is powered on. Ensure there is a clear line of sight between blasters; obstacles can interfere with the infrared beam. Check if the blaster needs to be reloaded.
• Reduced Range or Performance: This may indicate low battery power. Replace all batteries with fresh ones. Environmental factors like bright sunlight can also affect infrared performance.
• Physical Damage: If a blaster component, such as the trigger or internal spring, appears to be broken or malfunctioning, discontinue use. Do not attempt to repair the blaster yourself, as this may void any potential warranty.
