Setup

1. Unpacking

• Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
• Retain the packaging materials for future transport or storage.
• Place the turntable unit on a stable, level surface away from direct sunlight, heat sources, or excessive dust.

2. Connecting the Speakers

• Identify the speaker cables. Each speaker has a cable with RCA connectors.
• Connect the right speaker cable to the "R" (Right) speaker output on the back of the turntable unit.
• Connect the left speaker cable to the "L" (Left) speaker output on the back of the turntable unit.
• Ensure the connections are firm.

3. Power Connection

• Insert the DC plug of the power adapter into the "DC 12V" input jack on the back of the turntable unit.
• Plug the power adapter into a suitable wall outlet.

4. Placing the Slipmat

• Place the provided slipmat directly onto the turntable platter. This protects your records and provides better grip.

Operating Instructions

1. Playing a Record

• Open the dust cover.
• Place a record on the platter, ensuring it is centered.
• Select the correct speed (33, 45, or 78 RPM) using the speed selector knob on the turntable unit. For 45 RPM records with a large center hole, place the included 45 RPM adapter on the spindle before placing the record.
• Release the tonearm lock.
• Gently lift the tonearm using the cueing lever.
• Move the tonearm over the desired starting groove of the record.
• Slowly lower the tonearm using the cueing lever. The stylus will make contact with the record, and playback will begin.
• Adjust the volume using the volume knob on the turntable unit.

2. Stopping Playback

• Gently lift the tonearm using the cueing lever.
• Return the tonearm to its rest position.
• Engage the tonearm lock.
• Close the dust cover to protect the turntable from dust.

3. Using AUX Input

• Connect an external audio device (e.g., smartphone, MP3 player) to the "AUX IN" port on the back of the turntable using a 3.5mm audio cable (not included).
• The audio from the connected device will play through the Lenco LS-100WD's speakers.

4. Using Speaker Out

• The "SPEAKER OUT" port allows you to connect the turntable to an external amplifier or powered speakers for alternative audio output. Use an appropriate RCA cable (not included) to connect this port to your external audio system's input.

Maintenance

1. Cleaning the Turntable Unit

• Wipe the turntable's surface and dust cover with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth.
• Do not use abrasive cleaners, waxes, or solvents as they may damage the finish.

2. Cleaning Records

• Always handle records by their edges or the label.
• Use a dedicated record cleaning brush to gently remove dust and debris from the record surface before each play.
• For deeper cleaning, use a record cleaning solution and cloth designed for vinyl records.

3. Stylus Care

• The stylus (needle) is delicate. Avoid touching it with your fingers.
• Clean the stylus periodically using a soft brush designed for stylus cleaning, brushing gently from back to front.
• If the sound quality deteriorates or the stylus appears damaged, it may need replacement. Consult Lenco support for replacement options.
