Switch Replacement Guide
The CB-GK-18 Firefly keyboard features hot-swappable Outemu mechanical switches, allowing for easy replacement without soldering. This feature enables customization of typing feel and quick repair of faulty switches.

- Remove Keycap: Use the included keycap puller to gently remove the keycap from the switch you wish to replace.
- Remove Switch: Use the included switch puller. Align the prongs of the switch puller with the two clips on the top and bottom of the switch. Squeeze the clips and gently pull the switch upwards to remove it from the PCB.
- Insert New Switch: Take a new 3-pin Outemu mechanical switch. Ensure the pins on the bottom of the new switch are straight. Align the pins with the holes on the PCB and gently press the switch down until it clicks into place. Do not force the switch; if it doesn't go in easily, check the pins for bending.
- Replace Keycap: Place the keycap back onto the new switch, pressing down firmly until it is secure.
- Test: Test the new switch to ensure it functions correctly.
Note: This keyboard is compatible only with 3-pin Outemu brand switches.
