Setup Guide

1. Initial Charge

Before first use, fully charge your Bose Sport Open Earbuds using the provided charging base. Connect the USB cable from the charging base to a power source. The earbuds will magnetically attach to the base for charging.

2. Power On and Pairing

To power on, remove the earbuds from the charging base. They will automatically enter pairing mode. Open the Bluetooth settings on your device (smartphone, tablet, etc.) and select "Bose Sport Open Earbuds" from the list of available devices. Follow any on-screen prompts to complete the pairing process.

3. Bose Music App

For enhanced features, firmware updates, and personalized settings, download the Bose Music app from your device's app store. The app provides a guided setup experience and additional controls.

Operating Instructions

Controls

The earbuds feature physical buttons for control:

• Play/Pause: Press the button on either earbud once.
• Skip Track: Double-press the button on the right earbud.
• Previous Track: Triple-press the button on the left earbud.
• Answer/End Call: Press the button on either earbud once during an incoming call.
• Decline Call: Press and hold the button on either earbud.
• Access Voice Assistant (Siri/Google Assistant): Press and hold the button on either earbud.

Wearing the Earbuds

Position the earbuds so the hook rests over the top of your ear, and the speaker portion sits just outside your ear canal. Ensure a comfortable and secure fit for optimal sound and stability during activity.

Maintenance

Cleaning

Regularly wipe the earbuds and charging base with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials. Ensure the charging contacts on both the earbuds and the base are clean and dry before charging.

Storage

When not in use, store the earbuds in their protective case to prevent damage and keep them clean. Store in a cool, dry place away from extreme temperatures.

Water Resistance

The earbuds are IPX4 rated, meaning they are resistant to splashing water from any direction. They are not designed to be submerged in water. Do not use them while swimming or expose them to pressurized water streams.

Troubleshooting

No Sound or Pairing Issues

• Ensure earbuds are charged.
• Check Bluetooth connection on your device; try unpairing and re-pairing.
• Make sure the earbuds are within Bluetooth range (up to 30 ft / 9 m).
• Restart your audio device and the earbuds.

Poor Call Quality

• Ensure the microphone is not obstructed.
• Move to a quieter environment if there is excessive background noise.
• Check your device's call settings.

Earbuds Not Charging

• Verify the charging base is properly connected to a power source.
• Ensure the earbuds are correctly seated on the charging contacts.
• Clean the charging contacts on both the earbuds and the base.
