3. Setup

1. Connect the Keyboard: Plug the USB-A connector of the keyboard cable into an available USB 2.0 port on your computer.
2. Attach Wrist Rest: Align the magnetic wrist rest with the bottom edge of the keyboard. The magnets will secure it in place.
3. Driver Installation: Your operating system (Windows) should automatically detect and install the necessary drivers.
4. Software Installation (Optional): For advanced customization of RGB lighting, macros, and key assignments, download and install the EVGA Unleash RGB software from the official EVGA website.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1. Basic Keyboard Functions

The EVGA Z15 RGB keyboard functions as a standard QWERTY layout keyboard. All keys are pre-programmed for their respective functions. The keyboard supports a 4,000Hz report rate for rapid response.

4.2. Multimedia Keys and Volume Wheel

Dedicated multimedia keys and a volume scroll wheel are located on the top right of the keyboard for convenient control of media playback and audio levels.

5.2. Switch Replacement

If a switch needs replacement:

1. Disconnect the keyboard.
2. Use the switch puller to gently grasp the switch and pull it straight up.
3. Align the pins of the new switch with the holes on the PCB and press down firmly until it clicks into place. Ensure pins are not bent.

• Keyboard Not Responding: Ensure the USB cable is securely connected to both the keyboard and the computer. Try a different USB port. Restart your computer.
• RGB Lighting Not Working: Check if the lighting is enabled via keyboard shortcuts or the EVGA Unleash RGB software. Ensure the software is up to date.
• Keys Not Registering: If a specific key is not working, try replacing its switch using the included spare switches and switch puller. Ensure the switch is fully seated.
• Software Issues: Reinstall the EVGA Unleash RGB software. Ensure your operating system is up to date.
