Setup & Installation
The Brio 400 Series water cooler features a user-friendly installation process. As a bottleless unit, it connects directly to your water line, eliminating the need for heavy water bottles. Refer to the included installation kit instructions for detailed steps on connecting to your water supply.
- Unpacking: Carefully remove all packaging materials and place the dispenser on a flat, stable surface.
- Water Line Connection: Follow the instructions in the installation kit to connect the dispenser to your cold water supply line. Ensure all connections are secure to prevent leaks.
- Filter Installation: Install the 2-stage water filters as directed in the filter replacement guide.
- Power Connection: Plug the dispenser into a grounded electrical outlet.
- Initial Flush: Before first use, dispense and discard several cups of water from each temperature setting (hot, ambient, cold) to flush the system and filters.
Operating Instructions
Your Brio water cooler provides instant access to water at your desired temperature.
- Hot Water Dispensing: To dispense hot water, first slide the child safety lock (red button) to the unlocked position, then press the hot water button. Release the button to stop dispensing. Always re-engage the child safety lock after use.
- Cold Water Dispensing: Press the cold water button to dispense cold water. Release the button to stop.
- Ambient Water Dispensing: Press the ambient water button to dispense room temperature water. Release the button to stop.
- LED Indicators: Observe the LED lights on the control panel. They indicate when the hot water is heating, cold water is chilling, and when the self-cleaning UV-CARE function is active.
Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and water quality.
- Self-Cleaning (UV-CARE): The UV-CARE system automatically disinfects the water cooler. No manual intervention is typically required for this feature.
- Filter Replacement: The 2-stage filters should be replaced periodically based on usage and water quality. For replacement filters, search for “Brio MIB200PKF” 2-Stage Filter Replacement Kit. Follow the instructions provided with the replacement filters for proper installation.
- Drip Tray Cleaning: Regularly remove and clean the drip tray to prevent water overflow and maintain hygiene.
- Exterior Cleaning: Wipe the exterior of the dispenser with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
