1. Safety Information

2. Setup and Assembly

The iLiving 30-inch Commercial Pedestal Oscillating Fan requires some assembly. Follow these steps to ensure proper setup.

2.1 Unpacking

  • Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
  • Verify that all parts listed in the Specifications section are present.
  • Retain packaging for future storage or transport.

2.2 Base Assembly

  1. Place the heavy-duty pedestal base on a flat, stable surface.
  2. Attach the main support pole to the base, securing it with the provided screws and washers.

2.3 Fan Head Attachment

  1. Carefully lift the fan head assembly and align it with the top of the support pole.
  2. Secure the fan head to the pole using the designated fasteners. Ensure it is firmly attached to prevent wobbling during operation.

2.4 Height Adjustment

The fan's height is adjustable from 55 to 72 inches. Loosen the height adjustment knob on the support pole, extend or retract the pole to the desired height, and then firmly tighten the knob to secure the fan in place.

3. Operating Instructions

This section details how to operate your iLiving Commercial Pedestal Oscillating Fan.

3.1 Powering On/Off and Speed Control

  • Plug the fan's GFCI power cord into a suitable electrical outlet.
  • The fan features a pull chain switch for power and speed control.
  • Pull the chain once to turn the fan ON at the lowest speed (7400 CFM).
  • Pull the chain again to cycle through the medium speed.
  • Pull the chain a third time for the highest speed (8400 CFM).
  • Pull the chain a fourth time to turn the fan OFF.

3.2 Oscillation Control

The fan head can be configured for oscillation or fixed positioning. The fan has a 70-degree oscillating sweep.

  • To enable oscillation, locate the oscillation pin/lever on the motor housing and engage it.
  • To stop oscillation and fix the fan in one direction, disengage the oscillation pin/lever.

4. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your fan.

4.1 Cleaning

  • Always unplug the fan before cleaning.
  • Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe down the exterior surfaces of the fan. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • To clean the fan blades, remove the front grille by unscrewing the retaining clips or screws. Carefully wipe the blades with a damp cloth.
  • Ensure all parts are completely dry before reassembling the grille and plugging in the fan.

4.2 Storage

When not in use for extended periods, store the fan in a cool, dry place, preferably in its original packaging, to protect it from dust and damage.
