1. Important Safety Instructions

3. Setup and First Use

Unpacking

  1. Carefully remove the slow cooker and all accessories from the packaging.
  2. Remove any packaging materials, stickers, or labels.
  3. Retain the packaging for future storage or transport if necessary.

Cleaning Before First Use

  1. Wash the inner pot, glass lid, and steaming rack in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely.
  2. Wipe the exterior of the main unit with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the main unit in water.
  3. Ensure all parts are completely dry before assembly and use.

Placement

Place the slow cooker on a stable, flat, heat-resistant surface, away from walls and other appliances to allow for proper ventilation. Ensure the power cord is not obstructed or near hot surfaces.

4. Operating Instructions

Control Panel Overview

The digital control panel allows you to select various cooking functions, adjust time and temperature, and monitor cooking progress.

General Operation

  1. Place the inner pot into the main unit.
  2. Add your ingredients to the inner pot.
  3. Cover the inner pot with the glass lid.
  4. Plug the appliance into a suitable power outlet. The display will illuminate.
  5. Use the rotary knob to navigate through the cooking modes displayed on the screen. Press the knob to select a mode.
  6. Adjust the cooking time and/or temperature using the rotary knob and confirmation button as prompted by the display.
  7. Press the Start/Stop button (often integrated with the rotary knob or a separate button) to begin cooking.

Cooking Modes

  • Slow Cook: Ideal for tenderizing meats and developing rich flavors over extended periods. Select 'Low' or 'High' settings.
  • Stew: Optimized for preparing hearty stews and casseroles.
  • Steam: Use with the steaming rack for healthy steaming of vegetables, fish, and other foods.

  • Sauté: Use this function to brown ingredients directly in the inner pot before slow cooking, enhancing flavor.
  • Preset: Allows for delayed start of cooking programs.

5. Maintenance and Cleaning

Daily Cleaning

  1. Always unplug the slow cooker and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
  2. The inner pot, glass lid, and steaming rack are dishwasher safe. Alternatively, wash them in warm, soapy water using a non-abrasive sponge.
  3. Wipe the exterior of the main unit with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, as they may damage the finish.
  4. Ensure all parts are thoroughly dry before storing.

Storage

Store the slow cooker in a dry place. You can store the lid and steaming rack inside the inner pot, and then place the inner pot inside the main unit for compact storage.

6. Troubleshooting
