Introduction

The Bose SoundLink Revolve (Series II) is a portable Bluetooth speaker designed to deliver true 360° sound, providing consistent and uniform audio coverage. Setup

What's in the Box

Initial Charge

Before first use, fully charge your SoundLink Revolve II speaker. Connect the small end of the USB cable to the Micro-B USB port on the speaker and the large end to the wall charger. Plug the wall charger into a power outlet. The battery indicator light will pulse white during charging and turn solid white when fully charged. A full charge takes approximately 4 hours.

Powering On/Off

• To power on, press the Power button. The power indicator light will glow white.
• To power off, press and hold the Power button until the power indicator light turns off.

Bluetooth Pairing

The speaker uses voice prompts to guide you through the pairing process.

1. Power on the speaker.
2. The Bluetooth indicator light will pulse blue, indicating it's ready to pair. If not, press the Bluetooth button until it pulses blue.
3. On your mobile device, enable Bluetooth and select "Bose Revolve II" from the list of available devices.
4. Once connected, the speaker will announce "Connected to <device name>" and the Bluetooth indicator light will glow solid white.

The speaker can remember up to eight paired devices and connect to two devices simultaneously for easy switching.

Operating Instructions

Basic Controls

Control playback and volume using the buttons on the top of the speaker or your connected device.

• Volume Up (+) / Volume Down (-): Press to adjust volume.
• Multi-function button (•••):
  • Press once to play/pause.
  • Press twice to skip forward.
  • Press three times to skip backward.

Voice Assistant and Speakerphone

The built-in microphone allows for hands-free calls and access to your device's voice assistant.

• To activate your device's voice assistant (e.g., Siri, Google Assistant), press and hold the Multi-function button (•••).
• For incoming calls, press the Multi-function button (•••) once to answer, or press and hold to decline. During a call, press once to end the call.

Party Mode and Stereo Mode (Bose SimpleSync)

Connect two SoundLink Revolve speakers for an enhanced audio experience.

• Party Mode: Play audio simultaneously on two speakers for wider coverage.
• Stereo Mode: Separate audio into left and right channels for an immersive stereo soundstage.

Use the Bose Connect app to easily set up Party Mode or Stereo Mode. Alternatively, press and hold the Bluetooth button on each speaker to sync their sound, or press the Action button to link them if a group is already established.

Bose Connect App

Download the Bose Connect app for additional features and control:

• Manage Bluetooth connections.
• Unlock features like Party Mode and Stereo Mode.
• Access future software updates.
• Personalize settings.

The app is available on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

Auxiliary Input

Connect audio devices without Bluetooth capability using a 3.5mm auxiliary cable (not included) to the AUX input port on the speaker.

Maintenance

Cleaning

Clean the speaker's surface with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use any solvents, chemicals, or cleaning sprays. Ensure all ports are dry before charging or connecting other devices.

Water and Dust Resistance

The SoundLink Revolve II has an IP55 rating, meaning it is resistant to dust and splashes of water. It is not designed to be submerged in water. If the speaker gets wet, wipe it dry before charging.

Battery Care

To maximize battery life, avoid fully discharging the battery frequently. Store the speaker in a cool, dry place when not in use for extended periods. Charge the speaker periodically if stored for a long time to prevent deep discharge.

Troubleshooting

Factory Reset

If the speaker is unresponsive or experiencing persistent issues, a factory reset may resolve the problem. To perform a factory reset, press and hold the Power button for 10 seconds until the speaker powers off and then on again, and the lights flash. This will clear all paired devices and settings.
