Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Bread does not rise or rises poorly. | Expired yeast, incorrect water temperature, too much salt, incorrect ingredient ratios. | Check yeast expiration date. Use lukewarm water (not hot or cold). Ensure correct measurements of all ingredients. |
| Bread sticks to the pan. | Pan not properly greased (if recipe requires), coating wear. | Allow bread to cool slightly before removing. Gently shake the pan. If coating is worn, consider replacement. |
| Kneading blade stuck in bread. | Common occurrence. | Use the provided hook to carefully remove the blade after the bread has cooled slightly. |
| Uneven mixing, especially with gluten-free dough. | Dough consistency, ingredients sticking to sides. | During the initial kneading phase (first 5-10 minutes), use a rubber spatula to scrape down any flour or dough sticking to the sides of the pan. This is particularly helpful for gluten-free recipes. |
| Bread is too dark. | Incorrect browning setting, baking time too long. | Select a lighter browning setting. For custom programs, adjust baking time. Monitor closely, especially for cakes or sweet breads. |
| Appliance does not start. | Not plugged in, power outage, lid not closed properly. | Check power connection. Ensure lid is fully closed. Press START/STOP button firmly. |
