1. Introduction

3. Components Overview

3.1 Universal Phone Clip

The patent-designed auto-switch phone clip is compatible with a wide range of smartphones, including iPhone 16/15/14 Mini/Pro/Max and various Android models. It securely holds your device for stable recording.

3.2 Cardioid Microphone

The universal cardioid microphone significantly improves audio recording quality by reducing peripheral environmental noise. It delivers crisp and clear sound, essential for professional-sounding vlogs and interviews. The kit includes a dead cat windscreen and a foam windscreen for optimal performance in different environments.

3.3 Adjustable Fill Light

The LED fill light features built-in high-brightness lamp beads and a diffusion board for soft, even illumination. You can easily control the brightness from 1% to 100% and adjust the color temperature from 3000K (warm) to 7000K (cold) to suit various shooting scenarios and achieve your desired lighting effect.

3.4 Adjustable Tripod with 360° Ball Head

The included mini tripod features foldable legs that can be adjusted for various photography scenarios. It comes with a 1/4" thread tripod ball head, allowing for 360° panoramic photography and versatile angle adjustments to achieve the best view.

4. Setup Guide

1. Attach the Tripod: Extend the tripod legs for stability. The tripod can be used handheld or placed on a flat surface.
2. Mount the Ball Head: Screw the 360° ball head onto the 1/4" screw on top of the tripod. Tighten securely.
3. Attach the Phone Clip: Screw the phone holder clip onto the 1/4" screw on top of the ball head. Ensure it is firmly attached.
4. Insert Your Smartphone: Gently expand the phone clip and insert your smartphone. The auto-switch design accommodates various phone sizes.
5. Mount the LED Light: Slide the LED fill light onto the cold shoe mount located on top of the phone clip.
6. Mount the Microphone: Slide the cardioid microphone onto the remaining cold shoe mount on the phone clip (if available) or directly onto the LED light's cold shoe mount.
7. Connect the Microphone:
   • For smartphones with a 3.5mm headphone jack, use the provided TRRS audio cable (usually marked with a phone icon). Connect one end to the microphone and the other to your phone's headphone jack.
   • For cameras or devices with a dedicated microphone input, use the provided TRS audio cable (usually marked with a camera icon).
   • If your smartphone does not have a 3.5mm jack, you will need a separate adapter (e.g., USB-C to 3.5mm or Lightning to 3.5mm, not included) to connect the TRRS cable.
8. Adjust Angles: Use the 360° ball head to adjust your phone's angle for optimal shooting.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Using the LED Fill Light

1. Power On/Off: Press and hold the power button on the back of the light to turn it on or off.
2. Adjust Brightness: Use the brightness adjustment buttons (usually marked with '+' and '-') to increase or decrease the light intensity from 1% to 100%.
3. Change Color Temperature: Press the 'M' (Mode) button to cycle through different color temperature settings (e.g., 3000K warm, 5000K natural, 7000K cold).
4. Charging: Connect the light to a USB power source using the provided Type-C charging port. The charging indicator will show charging status.

5.2 Using the Cardioid Microphone

1. Connect to Device: Ensure the correct audio cable (TRS for cameras, TRRS for smartphones) is securely connected to the microphone and your recording device.
2. Apply Windscreen: For outdoor recording or windy conditions, place the dead cat windscreen over the microphone to minimize wind noise. For indoor use, the foam windscreen can be used to reduce plosives and breath sounds.
3. Positioning: For optimal audio quality, position the microphone pointing towards the sound source.
4. Recording: Start your recording application on your smartphone or camera. The microphone should be automatically detected. Monitor audio levels if your device allows.

• Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the surfaces of the kit components. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
• Storage: When not in use, store all components in the provided premium case bag to protect them from dust, moisture, and physical damage.

7. Troubleshooting

• No Audio from Microphone:
  • Ensure the correct audio cable (TRRS for smartphone, TRS for camera) is used and fully inserted into both the microphone and the recording device.
  • If using a smartphone without a 3.5mm jack, verify your adapter is functioning correctly and compatible.
  • Check your phone's audio input settings in your recording app or system settings.
• LED Light Not Turning On/Charging:
  • Ensure the light is fully charged. Connect it to a reliable USB power source.
  • Check the charging cable for any damage.
  • If the light is unresponsive, try resetting it by holding the power button for an extended period (e.g., 10-15 seconds).
• Phone Not Stable in Clip:
  • Ensure the phone is centered and securely gripped by the clip.
  • Verify the phone clip is tightly screwed onto the ball head.
• Tripod Instability:
  • Ensure the tripod legs are fully extended and locked into position on a flat, stable surface.
  • Check that the ball head is tightened to prevent wobbling.
