Safety Information
Always observe the following safety precautions when operating the soldering station:
- Ensure the soldering station is connected to a properly grounded outlet to utilize its ESD safe features.
- Do not touch the soldering iron tip or heating element when the unit is powered on, as temperatures can reach up to 896°F (480°C).
- Use in a well-ventilated area to avoid inhaling solder fumes.
- Always place the soldering iron in its stand when not in use.
- Keep flammable materials away from the soldering area.
- Disconnect the power cord from the outlet before cleaning or performing maintenance.

Setup
- Unpack all components from the packaging.
- Place the soldering station on a stable, heat-resistant surface.
- Connect the soldering iron to the station's front port. Ensure the connector is firmly seated and not loose.
- Place the soldering iron stand next to the station. Insert the cleaning sponge into the designated tray in the stand and dampen it with water.
- Connect the power cord to the back of the soldering station and then to a 110V AC power outlet.

Operating Instructions
Power On and Temperature Adjustment:
- Turn the power switch on the front of the station to the 'ON' position. The digital display will illuminate.
- Adjust the temperature using the rotary knob on the front panel. The display will show the set temperature.
- Allow a few moments for the iron to reach the desired temperature. The PID control ensures rapid heating and stable temperature maintenance.
Switching Between Celsius (°C) and Fahrenheit (°F):
The soldering station allows you to switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit temperature displays. Follow these steps:
- If the station displays °C, turn the unit off. Turn the temperature knob clockwise to the maximum setting. Switch the unit on. When the display shows "C", quickly turn the knob counter-clockwise to the minimum. The display will now show the degree of °F.
- If the station displays °F, turn the unit off. Turn the temperature knob clockwise to the maximum setting. Switch the unit on. When the display shows "F", quickly turn the knob counter-clockwise to the minimum. The display will now show the degree of °C.

Maintenance
Soldering Tip Care:
- Always tin the soldering tip before and after each use to prevent oxidation and prolong its lifespan.
- Regularly clean the tip using the damp sponge provided in the iron stand.
- If the tip becomes heavily oxidized, gently clean it with a brass wire cleaner or specialized tip tinner.
Station Cleaning:
- Ensure the unit is powered off and unplugged before cleaning.
- Wipe the exterior of the station with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Periodically clean the iron stand and sponge tray.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Iron not heating / "H-E" error on display | Loose connection, faulty heating element, or damaged handle. | Ensure the soldering iron connector is securely plugged into the station. If the issue persists, contact customer service for assistance, as a replacement handle or heating element may be required. |
| Temperature fluctuates wildly or is inaccurate | Poor quality or worn-out soldering tip. | Replace the soldering tip with a new, high-quality tip. Ensure the tip is properly seated. |
| Solder not melting easily | Insufficient temperature setting, oxidized tip, or incorrect solder type. | Increase the temperature setting. Clean and tin the soldering tip. Ensure you are using appropriate solder for your application. |
