4. Bluetooth Connection
Connect the PocketDrum sticks and foot sensors to your device via Bluetooth. Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone, tablet, or computer.

Operating Instructions
1. Basic Drumming
Hold the PocketDrum sticks and use them as you would traditional drumsticks. The sensors detect your movements and translate them into drum sounds within the AeroBand app or connected MIDI software. The app provides a visual representation of the drum kit, indicating which drum or cymbal is being hit.

2. Foot Sensor Functions
The foot sensors (PocketGuitar) mimic the function of real drum kit foot pedals. They control the Bass (Kick) drum and the Hi-Hat cymbal. By pressing the button on the foot sensors, you can switch between Hi-Hat and Bass Drum functions.
3. Sound Modes and MIDI Support
The PocketDrum2 PD2 offers various sound modes, including Funk, Jazz, and Rock, providing different drum kit sounds. It supports both USB MIDI and Bluetooth MIDI, allowing connection to various music software like GarageBand, Logic Pro, Melodics, or Ableton Live on laptops or iPads.

4. Latency Information
Latency refers to the delay between your action and the sound output. The PocketDrum2 PD2 has varying latency depending on the device:
- Android Devices: 60ms
- iPhones: 30ms on the AEROBAND App, 15ms on the GarageBand App.
- Laptop: 6ms on GarageBand, Logic Pro, Melodics, or Ableton Live App (via Bluetooth MIDI).
For optimal experience, especially with lower latency, wired headsets and speakers are recommended as Bluetooth headsets and speakers can introduce significant delay.

Maintenance
To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your PocketDrum2 PD2, follow these maintenance guidelines:
- Keep the devices clean and dry. Wipe with a soft, dry cloth.
- Avoid exposing the devices to extreme temperatures or direct sunlight.
- Store the devices in their original packaging or a protective case when not in use.
- Do not attempt to disassemble or repair the devices yourself, as this may void the warranty.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your PocketDrum2 PD2, refer to the following common solutions:
1. Latency Issues
If you experience significant delay between hitting the drums and hearing the sound:
- Ensure you are using wired headphones or speakers for the lowest latency.
- Check the latency specifications for your device type (Android, iPhone, Laptop) and app combination.
- Ensure your device's operating system and the AeroBand app are updated to the latest versions.
2. Drum Hit Detection or Position Issues
If the drum hits are not registering correctly or the virtual drum position seems off:
- Calibrate the devices within the AeroBand app. This is often necessary if the drum cannot be hit or the position moves.
- Ensure the drumsticks and foot sensors are securely attached and not loose.
3. Device Compatibility
The AeroBand app may not support certain phone models. Known unsupported phones include:
- LG G8
- HONOR V20, HONOR V10
- HUAWEI Nova4e, HUAWEI Nova3, HUAWEI Nova4
- Vivo S1
- Huawei Mediapad T5
- Oppo reno4se
If your phone is on this list, consider using a different compatible device for the best experience.
