Setup Guide
1. Initial Charging
Before first use, ensure the doorbell's internal batteries are fully charged. Connect the doorbell to a USB power source using a compatible cable (not included) until the charging indicator shows full charge.
2. App Installation & Account Creation
Download the Aiwit app from your device's app store (iOS or Android). Follow the on-screen instructions to create an account and log in.
3. Connecting to Wi-Fi
Open the Aiwit app and select "Add Device".
Follow the app's prompts to connect your doorbell to your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. Note that 5GHz networks are not supported.
Ensure your doorbell is within range of your Wi-Fi router for a stable connection.
4. Mounting the Doorbell
The doorbell offers two installation methods:
Adhesive Method: Use the provided double-sided tape to directly paste the doorbell onto a clean, flat surface.
Screw Method: Use the included screws and anchors to securely mount the doorbell's backplate to the wall. The doorbell can then be attached to and removed from the backplate for charging.

5. Power Supply Options
The doorbell can be powered in two ways:
Battery Power: Utilizes the included rechargeable batteries.
Hard-wired Power: Connects to an existing AC 8-24V doorbell wiring system.
Operation
Live View & Two-Way Audio
Access a live video feed from your doorbell camera anytime through the Aiwit app. When a visitor presses the doorbell or motion is detected, you will receive a notification on your smartphone. You can then initiate two-way communication with the visitor directly from the app.

Motion Detection & Alerts
The doorbell camera features a PIR motion sensor that detects movement in its field of view. Upon detection, it sends instant notifications to your connected device. You can adjust the motion sensitivity settings within the Aiwit app to minimize false alerts.

Night Vision
The integrated infrared (IR) sensor and LED lights enable clear video monitoring even in low-light conditions or complete darkness, ensuring your property is protected 24/7.
Video Recording & Cloud Storage
All detected events and doorbell presses are recorded and stored in the cloud. The cloud storage offers a bank-level protection for your data. Recorded videos can be accessed, reviewed, and downloaded via the Aiwit app.
Indoor Chime Operation
The included indoor chime plugs into a standard electrical outlet. It will ring when the doorbell button is pressed. You can select different ringtones and adjust the volume through the chime's settings or the app.
Maintenance
Cleaning
To maintain optimal performance, periodically clean the doorbell's lens and exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials that could damage the device.
Battery Management
If using battery power, monitor the battery level via the Aiwit app. Recharge the doorbell promptly when the battery is low to ensure continuous operation. The doorbell can be easily detached from its mounting plate for convenient charging.
Firmware Updates
Occasionally, firmware updates may be released to improve performance or add new features. Check the Aiwit app regularly for available updates and follow the instructions to install them.
Troubleshooting

Doorbell is offline / Cannot connect to Wi-Fi
Incorrect Wi-Fi band (5GHz), weak signal, incorrect password.
Ensure you are connecting to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. Move the doorbell closer to the router. Double-check your Wi-Fi password. Restart your router and the doorbell.
Frequent false motion alerts
Motion sensitivity is too high, environmental factors (e.g., trees, shadows, passing cars).
Adjust the motion detection sensitivity settings within the Aiwit app to a lower level. Consider the doorbell's placement to minimize unwanted triggers.
No chime sound when doorbell is pressed
Chime not paired, chime unplugged, volume too low.
Ensure the indoor chime is plugged into a working outlet. Refer to the chime's instructions for pairing if it's not ringing. Check the volume settings on the chime and in the app.
Poor video quality at night
Obstruction of IR sensor, dirty lens.
Clean the doorbell lens and ensure nothing is blocking the IR sensor.
Short battery life
Frequent motion alerts, cold weather, constant live view.
Reduce motion detection sensitivity. Ensure the doorbell is fully charged. Consider hard-wiring if battery life is a persistent issue.
