3. Setup and Initial Use

3.1 Charging the Device

The borescope is equipped with a 3500mAh rechargeable battery, providing up to 6 hours of working time. Before first use, ensure the device is fully charged using the provided USB data cable.

3.2 Powering On and Probe Connection

The device is designed for plug-and-play operation. Simply power on the endoscope, and it will be ready for immediate use.

1. Press and hold the power button to turn on the borescope.
2. Ensure the probe cable is securely connected to the main unit.

3.3 TF Card Installation (Pre-installed)

A 32GB TF card is pre-installed in the USB port for storing photos and videos. This card can save up to 30,000 pictures. To access saved media, connect the device to a computer using the USB data cable.

4.1 Display and Viewing Modes

The borescope features a 4.5-inch IPS screen with 1080P HD resolution, providing a clear and wide 178° viewing angle.

4.2 Dual Lens and Split Screen Function

The dual-lens system allows for switching between front and side-facing cameras, or viewing both simultaneously in split-screen mode. This is particularly useful for inspecting complex or tight areas.

4.3 Adjustable LED Lights

The probe is equipped with 7 adjustable LED lights to ensure clear images even in dark conditions. The main unit also has a torch light for general illumination.

4.4 Image Rotation

The display supports 180° image rotation for optimal viewing regardless of the probe's orientation.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Waterproof Probe

The camera lens is IP67 waterproof, making it suitable for use in wet environments. Ensure the probe is clean and dry after use in liquids.

5.2 Cleaning and Storage

After each use, gently clean the camera lens and cable with a soft, dry cloth. Store the borescope and its accessories in the provided EVA storage box to protect it from dust and damage.

6. Troubleshooting

6.1 Common Issues

If you encounter any issues with your DEPSTECH borescope, please refer to the following:

• No Power: Ensure the device is fully charged. Connect to a power source and check the charging indicator light.
• No Image: Verify that the probe cable is securely connected to the main unit. Restart the device.
• Poor Image Quality: Adjust the LED brightness. Ensure the camera lens is clean. Check the focal distance (main cam: 1.2-3.9 in / side cam: 0.8-2.4 in).
• Cannot Save Files: Ensure the 32GB TF card is properly inserted and not full. Try formatting the TF card through the device settings (refer to the full user manual for detailed steps).
