Initial Charging

The device comes with a built-in 900mAH lithium battery. Before first use, it is recommended to fully charge the device using the provided USB data cable. Connect the cable to the reader and a standard USB power source (e.g., computer USB port, USB wall adapter).

Operating Instructions

Press and hold the blue button on the front of the device to power it on. The screen will illuminate. To power off, press and hold the same button until the device shuts down.

Reading Animal Tags

The Animal Tag Reader utilizes advanced radio frequency technology for non-contact reading. To read a tag:

  1. Ensure the device is powered on.
  2. Position the reader near the animal's microchip or ear tag. The optimal reading distance for glass tube labels is 2~12mm (effective up to >5cm), and for 30mm animal ear tags, it is up to >15cm.
  3. The device will automatically detect and display the tag information on its high-brightness 0.91-inch screen. A buzzer will sound upon successful reading.
  4. The read response time is less than 100 milliseconds, ensuring quick identification.
