Setup

1. Physical Installation

1. Ensure the power to the light fixture is turned off at the switch or circuit breaker.
2. Carefully screw the LEDVANCE Sylvania Smart Light Bulb into a standard E26 medium base socket.
3. Turn on the power to the light fixture. The bulb should illuminate.

2. Pairing with Amazon Alexa (One-Touch Setup)

For the easiest setup, ensure your lights are pre-synced with your Amazon account if you selected the 'Link to my Alexa account' option during purchase. Otherwise, follow these steps:

• Make sure your Amazon Echo smart speaker is turned on and close to your new light bulb.
• Ensure your Echo device software is up-to-date by saying, "Alexa, is your software up-to-date?"
• Screw in your SYLVANIA Smart Light Bulb into the socket and power it on.
• Your Echo device should automatically discover the new light. You may receive a notification: "Alexa found First Light."
• If the light is not automatically discovered, say, "Alexa, discover new devices."
• Once discovered, you can control the light by saying, "Alexa, turn on First Light."

3. Pairing with Google Home or Apple HomeKit

To control the product via Apple HomeKit or Google Home, you must download the SYLVANIA Smart Home app.

• Download the SYLVANIA Smart Home app from your device's app store.
• Follow the in-app instructions to add your light bulb and integrate with your preferred smart home platform.

4. Resetting Your Light/Device

If you need to reset your light bulb for re-pairing or troubleshooting, follow these steps:

1. Power on the light/device.
2. Power off the light/device.
3. Repeat steps 1-2 five times.
4. Once reset, full color lights/devices should flash blue, red, green, and white. Soft white lights/devices should flash white four times.

• Group Control: Group multiple bulbs together to control them simultaneously (dim, brighten, turn on/off by bulb or room).
• Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) Mesh Network: Connect hundreds of bulbs. Each Bluetooth bulb acts as its own hub, extending voice control beyond Wi-Fi dead zones and the immediate range of the Alexa Echo device.
