7. Troubleshooting
If your landscape lights are not functioning as expected, refer to the following troubleshooting steps:
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Lights do not turn on. | No power to the transformer. | Check if the transformer is plugged in and the outlet has power. Test the outlet with another device. |
| Faulty transformer. | Test the transformer with a multimeter or try a different transformer. | |
| Loose or incorrect wire connections. | Ensure all quick-install connectors are firmly closed and making proper contact with the main low voltage wire. | |
| Damaged low voltage wire. | Inspect the entire length of the low voltage wire for cuts or damage. Replace if necessary. | |
| One or more lights are out. | Faulty individual light unit. | If other lights on the same circuit are working, the individual light unit may be defective. Contact customer support for replacement if within warranty. |
| Lights flicker. | Loose wire connection or insufficient power. | Check all wire connections. Ensure the transformer's wattage capacity is sufficient for the total wattage of all connected lights. |
