Setup and Installation

1. Mark Holes: Use the provided installation template to mark the drilling locations for the mounting brackets on your wall or door frame.
2. Drill Holes: Drill pilot holes at the marked locations.
3. Install Brackets: Secure the upper and lower mounting brackets using the short screws and wall anchors (if installing into drywall, ensure proper anchors are used).
4. Mount Gate: Attach the main gate unit to the installed brackets.
5. Install Mount Hooks: Install the mount hooks on the opposite side of the opening, ensuring they align with the gate's handle.
6. Extend and Secure: Pull the gate out and hook it onto the mount hooks. Ensure the gate is locked for security.

Operating Instructions

1. To Open: Push down and twist the button on the top of the main unit to unlock. Gently pull the handle across the opening and hook it into the mount hooks.
2. To Close: Push down and twist the button to unlock. Unhook the gate from the mount hooks and guide it back into the main unit until fully retracted.
3. To Lock: After extending and securing the gate, push the button on the top of the main unit to the red (locked) position. This prevents the gate from retracting or being unhooked easily.
4. One-Handed Operation: The design allows for convenient one-handed operation for opening and closing, useful when carrying a child or other items.
