- Attach the Handle Assembly: Carefully align the handle assembly with the main unit's mounting bracket. Secure it using the provided screws and tools. Ensure it is firmly attached and stable.
- Install the Water Tank (Optional): If using the water tank for wet applications, position it securely on the designated mount on the handle. Connect the water hose from the tank to the machine's water inlet.

Align the pad or brush with the drive plate on the underside of the machine and secure it firmly. Operating Instructions
The Prolux Core is designed for ease of use despite its heavy-duty capabilities. Follow these steps for optimal performance:
- Prepare the Area: Clear the floor of any large debris or obstacles. For wet cleaning, apply your chosen cleaning solution to the floor as recommended by the solution manufacturer.
- Adjust Handle: Adjust the telescoping T-handle to a comfortable operating height.
- Start the Machine: With the machine resting on its wheels, gently tilt it back slightly using the handle. Engage the power switch. The orbiting motor will begin to rotate the pad/brush at 150 RPM.
- Begin Cleaning: Slowly guide the machine across the floor. The weight of the unit (approximately 30 pounds) combined with the low RPM, high-torque motor provides effective deep cleaning. Allow the machine to do the work; avoid applying excessive downward pressure.
- Movement: The Prolux Core is designed to scrub and buff in both directions, minimizing swirl marks. Move the machine in overlapping passes to ensure even cleaning.
- Wet Applications: If using the water tank, activate the water flow as needed to dispense cleaning solution onto the floor.
- Finish Cleaning: Once the area is clean, turn off the machine and unplug it from the power outlet.

Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your Prolux Core floor buffer.
- Clean Pads/Brushes: After each use, remove and thoroughly clean the pads or brushes. Rinse them with water and allow them to air dry completely before storage.
- Wipe Down Unit: Wipe the exterior of the machine with a damp cloth to remove any dirt or residue. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Cord Care: Inspect the 50-foot extension cord for any signs of damage (fraying, cuts) before and after each use. Store the cord neatly coiled to prevent kinks and damage.
- Storage: Store the Prolux Core in a dry, cool place. Ensure the handle is in its upright position and the machine is stable.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Machine does not turn on. | No power, loose connection, faulty switch. | Check power outlet and cord connection. Ensure power switch is fully engaged. If problem persists, contact customer support. |
| Pad/Brush is not spinning or spinning slowly. | Incorrect pad/brush attachment, excessive downward pressure, motor obstruction. | Ensure pad/brush is correctly aligned and securely attached. Reduce downward pressure; allow the machine's weight to do the work. Check for any obstructions around the motor or drive plate. |
| Machine leaves swirl marks. | Improper technique, worn pad/brush. | Ensure even, overlapping passes. Replace worn pads or brushes. The Prolux Core is designed to minimize swirl marks with its dual-direction scrubbing. |
| Poor cleaning performance. | Wrong pad/brush for surface, insufficient cleaning solution, worn pad/brush. | Verify you are using the correct pad/brush for the floor type and task. Ensure adequate cleaning solution is applied. Replace worn pads or brushes. |
