• Earbud: The main unit for audio playback and calls.
• Multifunction Button: Used for power, pairing, call management, and music control.

• Magnetic USB Charging Dock: Connects to a USB power source to charge the earbud.

Setup

1. Charging the Earbud

Before first use, fully charge your earbud.

1. Connect the Magnetic USB Charging Dock to a USB power source (e.g., computer USB port, wall charger, power bank).
2. Place the SBS BT290 earbud onto the magnetic contacts of the charging dock. The earbud will magnetically attach.
3. The earbud's indicator light will show charging status (refer to the earbud's light indicators for specific details, typically red for charging, blue/off for fully charged).
4. A full charge takes approximately 2 hours. The earbud provides up to 2.5 hours of listening time.

2. Bluetooth Pairing

Pair your earbud with your smartphone or other Bluetooth-enabled device for the first time.

1. Ensure the earbud is charged.
2. Press and hold the Multifunction Button on the earbud until the indicator light flashes (typically blue and red alternately), indicating it is in pairing mode.
3. On your smartphone or device, go to the Bluetooth settings.
4. Search for available devices and select "SBS BT290" from the list.
5. Once connected, the earbud's indicator light will typically stop flashing or flash slowly blue. A voice prompt may confirm the connection.
6. The earbud will automatically reconnect to the last paired device when turned on and within range.

Operating the Earbud

Power On/Off

• Power On: Press and hold the Multifunction Button for approximately 3 seconds until the indicator light turns on (usually blue) and you hear a power-on prompt.
• Power Off: Press and hold the Multifunction Button for approximately 5 seconds until the indicator light turns off (usually red) and you hear a power-off prompt.

Call Management

Use the Multifunction Button to control calls:

• Answer/End Call: Press the Multifunction Button once.
• Reject Call: Press and hold the Multifunction Button for approximately 2 seconds.
• Redial Last Number: Double-press the Multifunction Button.

Music Playback

Use the Multifunction Button to control music:

• Play/Pause: Press the Multifunction Button once.

Wearing the Earbud

Insert the earbud comfortably into one ear. The mono design allows you to keep the other ear free for situational awareness.
