- Connect Audio Output (Optional):

Operating Instructions
Switching Between HDMI Sources
The NEWCARE HDMI switch offers three methods for switching between connected HDMI sources:
- Automatic Switching: The switch will automatically change to a new HDMI source when it is turned on. If multiple sources are active, it will prioritize the newly activated source. When a source is turned off, it will revert to the previously active source.
- Manual Button Switching: Press the "SELECT" button on the front panel of the switch to cycle through the HDMI input sources (HDMI 1, 2, 3, 4).
- IR Remote Control Switching: Use the provided IR remote control to directly select the desired HDMI input (HDMI 1, 2, 3, or 4).
- For best results, point the remote directly at the IR receiver on the switch.
- Press buttons firmly and allow approximately 2 seconds between presses for the switch to register the command.
- When switching sources, the display may briefly go black for about 5 seconds. This is normal behavior during the signal negotiation process.
- The maximum effective remote control distance is 4 meters.
Audio Return Channel (ARC) Function
The ARC function allows audio from your TV's built-in tuner or smart apps to be sent back to the HDMI switch and then outputted to an external sound system via the optical or coaxial audio outputs.
How to Use ARC Function:
