Troubleshooting
| Issue | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Feeder not connecting to WiFi | Incorrect WiFi band (5GHz), special characters in password, weak signal. | Ensure your router is broadcasting a 2.4GHz network. Avoid special characters in your WiFi password. Move the feeder closer to the router. Re-attempt pairing in the app. |
| Food not dispensing or jamming | Kibble size too large/small, wet food used, food blockage. | Ensure kibble is between 2mm and 10mm in diameter. Only use dry food. Check for any obstructions in the dispenser mechanism and clear them. |
| Feeder loses power/stops working | Power outage, loose USB connection, depleted batteries. | Check USB cable connection. If using battery backup, ensure batteries are fresh and correctly installed. |
| App not tracking feeding history | Intermittent WiFi connection, app synchronization issue. | Verify stable 2.4GHz WiFi connection. Restart the app. Ensure feeder firmware is up to date if an update is available. |
| Portions seem too small | Default portion size is small (approx. 10g). | Increase the number of portions per meal in the app settings to meet your pet's dietary needs. |
