Important Safety Information

Please read all instructions before assembly and use of the Ingenuity Lullanight Soothing Bassinet. Keep this manual for future reference. Failure to follow these warnings and instructions could result in serious injury or death.

• SUFFOCATION HAZARD: Infants have suffocated in bassinets. Use ONLY the pad provided by the manufacturer. NEVER add a pillow, comforter, or another mattress for padding.
• FALL HAZARD: To prevent falls, do not use this product when the infant begins to push up on hands and knees, or has reached 5 months of age, or weighs over 15 lbs (6.8 kg), whichever comes first.
• Ensure all assembly fasteners are securely tightened. Check regularly for loose fasteners.
• Do not use the bassinet if any parts are missing, damaged, or broken. Contact the manufacturer for replacement parts.
• Always place the bassinet on a firm, flat, level surface.
• Keep the bassinet away from cords, windows, and other hazards.
• The mesh sides are designed for breathability and visibility. Ensure they are always clear and unobstructed.

Setup Instructions

Follow these steps to assemble your Ingenuity Lullanight Soothing Bassinet:

1. Unpack Components: Carefully remove all parts from the packaging. Verify that all components listed in the parts list (not provided in this manual, refer to product packaging) are present and undamaged.
2. Assemble Frame: Connect the frame pieces according to the illustrations provided in your product's quick start guide. Ensure all connections click securely into place.
3. Attach Bassinet Fabric: Slide the bassinet fabric over the assembled frame, ensuring the mesh sides are properly aligned and secured to the frame.
4. Insert Mattress: Place the provided mattress pad firmly into the bottom of the bassinet. Ensure it lies flat and snug against the sides.
5. Attach Canopy and Mobile: Secure the canopy to the designated attachment points on the bassinet frame. Hang the plush toys from the canopy as shown in the product images.
6. Install Batteries: Locate the battery compartment for the soothing unit (light/sound module). Insert 3 AA batteries (not included) ensuring correct polarity. Close the compartment securely.

Operating Instructions

Moving the Bassinet

The Ingenuity Lullanight Bassinet is equipped with four lockable wheels for easy portability between rooms.

• To Move: Ensure all wheel locks are disengaged. Gently push the bassinet to your desired location.
• To Secure: Once in position, press down on the locking mechanism on each wheel until it clicks into place. This will prevent the bassinet from moving unintentionally.

Using the Soothing Unit (Light & Sound)

The integrated soothing unit provides a soft night light and calming melodies to help lull your baby to sleep.

• Power Button: Press the power button (usually indicated by a circle with a vertical line) to turn the unit ON or OFF.
• Night Light: Press the light bulb icon button to activate the soft night light. Press again to cycle through brightness settings or turn off.
• Melodies/Sounds: Press the music note icon button to play soothing melodies or sounds. Press again to cycle through different options.
• Volume Control: Use the speaker icon buttons (often with '+' and '-' symbols) to adjust the volume of the sounds.

Canopy and Toy Bar

The adjustable canopy provides shade and features two hanging plush toys to engage your baby.

• Adjusting Canopy: Gently push or pull the canopy to adjust its position over the bassinet.
• Toy Bar: The hanging toys are designed for visual stimulation. Ensure they are securely attached.

Storage Bin

A convenient storage bin is located beneath the bassinet for keeping baby essentials within reach.

• Use the storage bin for diapers, wipes, blankets, or other small items. Do not overload the bin.

Maintenance and Care

Proper care will ensure the longevity and safety of your bassinet.

• Bassinet Fabrics/Storage Bin:
  • Remove from frame.
  • Fasten zipper.
  • Machine wash with cold water, gentle cycle.
  • No bleach.
  • Air dry flat.
• Canopy/Mattress:
  • Spot clean with a soft, clean cloth and mild soap.
• Frame: Wipe the metal frame with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
• Regular Checks: Periodically check all fasteners, screws, and connections to ensure they are tight and secure. Inspect for any signs of wear or damage.
