7. Maintenance
VLAND LED Headlights are designed for durability and minimal maintenance. Follow these guidelines to ensure optimal performance:
- Cleaning: Clean the headlight lenses regularly with a soft cloth and mild automotive cleaning solution. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals that could damage the lens material.
- Inspection: Periodically inspect the headlight assemblies for any signs of damage, cracks, or loose connections.
- Bulb Replacement: As these are full LED units, individual bulb replacement is generally not required. If an LED component fails, contact customer support for assistance.
- Waterproof Seal: The headlights are fully sealed and waterproof. Avoid high-pressure washing directly on the seals to maintain integrity.
8. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your VLAND LED Headlights, refer to the following common troubleshooting steps:
8.1. Headlights Not Functioning
- Check Connections: Ensure all electrical connectors are securely attached to the headlight assembly and the vehicle's wiring harness.
- Check Fuses: Inspect the vehicle's fuse box for any blown fuses related to the headlights. Replace if necessary.
- Battery Connection: Verify that the vehicle's battery is properly connected and charged.
8.2. Flickering or Intermittent Operation
- Loose Connections: Re-check all wiring connections for tightness.
- Voltage Supply: Ensure the vehicle's electrical system is providing stable voltage.
8.3. Condensation Inside Lens
- Minor condensation can occur due to temperature changes and is usually temporary. It should dissipate with normal operation.
- If heavy condensation persists or water droplets are visible, inspect the seals for damage. Contact customer support if the issue does not resolve.
