1. Product Overview

2. Setup

2.1 Connecting the Phone

  1. Connect the Handset: Plug one end of the coiled handset cord into the handset and the other end into the jack on the side of the phone base marked with a handset icon.
  2. Connect to Phone Line: Plug one end of the telephone line cord into the jack on the back of the phone base marked with a telephone icon. Plug the other end into your wall telephone jack.

2.2 Wall Mounting (Optional)

The Uvital TCF-2300 can be mounted on a wall for convenient placement.

  1. Prepare the Handset Hook: Locate the small plastic pin at the bottom of the handset cradle. Remove this pin and reinsert it upside down. This will secure the handset when the phone is mounted vertically.
  2. Mount the Phone: Use two screws (not included) spaced approximately 3.35 inches (8.5 cm) apart to secure the phone to the wall. Ensure the screws are strong enough to hold the phone's weight.

3. Operating Instructions

3.1 Making and Receiving Calls

  • To Make a Call: Lift the handset or press the SPEAKER button. Dial the desired phone number using the large keypad.
  • To Receive a Call: When the phone rings, lift the handset or press the SPEAKER button.
  • To End a Call: Place the handset back on the cradle or press the SPEAKER button again if using speakerphone.

3.2 Volume Adjustment

  • Ringer Volume: A switch on the side of the phone allows you to select between two ringer volume levels (High/Low).
  • Speaker Volume: During a call, slide the volume control switch (labeled VOL/VIVA/VOZ) on the side of the phone to adjust the speaker or handset volume to your preference.

3.3 Programming Speed Dial Numbers

The phone supports 3 one-touch memory dials (HOLD, STORE, AUTO) and 10 two-touch memory dials (0-9).

3.3.1 One-Touch Memory Dials (HOLD, STORE, AUTO)

  1. Lift the handset.
  2. Press the STORE button.
  3. Dial the phone number you wish to save (up to 16 digits).
  4. Press one of the three memory buttons (HOLD, STORE, or AUTO) to assign the number. Note: The labels "HOLD", "STORE", "AUTO" are used as memory buttons in this model.
  5. Place the handset back on the cradle.

3.3.2 Two-Touch Memory Dials (0-9)

  1. Lift the handset.
  2. Press the STORE button.
  3. Dial the phone number you wish to save (up to 16 digits).
  4. Press the desired numeric button (0-9) to assign the number.
  5. Place the handset back on the cradle.

3.3.3 Using Speed Dial Numbers

  • One-Touch: Lift the handset, then press the assigned memory button (HOLD, STORE, or AUTO). The number will dial automatically.
  • Two-Touch: Lift the handset, then press the AUTO button, followed by the assigned numeric button (0-9). The number will dial automatically.

3.4 Redial/Pause

  • Redial: Lift the handset and press the REDIAL/PAUSE button to redial the last number called.
  • Pause: During dialing, press the REDIAL/PAUSE button to insert a pause in the dialing sequence. This is useful for accessing external lines or voicemail systems.

3.5 Flash Function

The FLASH button is used to access certain telephone company services, such as call waiting or three-way calling. Consult your telephone service provider for details on how to use this feature.

4. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Wipe the phone's surface with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Avoid Liquids: Keep the phone away from water and other liquids to prevent damage.
  • Cord Management: Ensure telephone and handset cords are not tangled or pinched to prevent damage and ensure proper function.

5. Troubleshooting
