Setup
1. Powering the Device
The CD10 can be powered using two AA batteries or via the supplied USB power cable.
- Battery Installation: Open the battery compartment on the back of the unit. Insert the two supplied AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-). Close the compartment securely.
- USB Power: Connect the supplied USB power cable to the DC5V input port on the CD player and plug the other end into a USB power adapter (not supplied) or a compatible USB port on a computer.

2. Connecting Audio Output
Connect the supplied earphones or an AUX cable to the 3.5mm audio output jack on the side of the CD player.
- Earphones: Insert the earphone jack into the 'PHONES' port.
- AUX Output: Use the supplied 3.5mm AUX cable to connect the CD player to external speakers, a car audio system, or other compatible devices.
Operating Instructions
1. Loading a CD
- Slide the 'OPEN' switch to open the CD compartment lid.
- Place a CD (CD, MP3 CD, CD-R, CD-RW) onto the spindle with the label side facing up.
- Gently press the CD down until it clicks into place.
- Close the CD compartment lid firmly until it latches.

2. Basic Playback Controls
- Play/Pause (►/❚❚): Press to start or pause playback.
- Stop (■): Press to stop playback.
- Skip Track (◀◀ / ►►): Press briefly to skip to the previous or next track.
- Fast Forward/Rewind: Press and hold to fast forward or rewind within a track.
- Volume Control: Use the volume dial on the side of the unit or the inline remote to adjust the audio level.
3. Special Functions
- Bass Boost: Press the 'BASS' button to enhance low-frequency audio. Press again to deactivate.
