Setup Guide

1. Unpacking and Placement

  1. Carefully remove the dehumidifier from its packaging. It is recommended to have two people for lifting due to its weight (102.6 lbs).
  2. Place the unit upright on a stable, level surface.
  3. Allow the unit to stand upright for at least 24 hours before plugging it in. This allows the refrigerant to settle.
  4. Ensure there is at least 12 inches (30 cm) of space around all sides of the unit for proper airflow.

2. Power Connection

  • Unwind the 8.6 ft power cord from the cable management arm located at the back of the unit.
  • Plug the power cord into a grounded 120V, 60Hz electrical outlet.

3. Drainage Setup

The CD190S features a built-in pump for continuous drainage. This eliminates the need to manually empty a water tank.

  • Locate the drain hose connection point on the unit.
  • Connect the provided 10 ft drain hose to the unit's drainage outlet. Ensure a secure connection to prevent leaks.
  • Route the other end of the drain hose to a suitable drainage location, such as a floor drain, sink, or out a window. The built-in pump can lift water up to 16 feet vertically.

Operating Instructions

Control Panel Overview

  • Power Button: Turns the unit ON or OFF.
  • Humidity Reading: The digital display shows the current ambient humidity level.
