1. Introduction

The WalkingPad Folding Treadmill P1 is an ultra-slim, foldable, and portable fitness device designed for walking and light jogging in a home or office environment. Its innovative design allows for easy storage and convenient use, promoting an active lifestyle.

2. Safety Information

To ensure safe operation and prevent injury, please read all instructions before using the WalkingPad P1. Keep this manual for future reference.

  • Always place the treadmill on a flat, stable surface.
  • Ensure adequate clear space around the treadmill (at least 20 inches on each side and 80 inches behind).
  • Wear appropriate athletic footwear during use.
  • Do not allow children or pets near the treadmill while it is in operation.
  • The maximum user weight for this device is 220 lbs (100 kg). Do not exceed this limit.
  • If you experience dizziness, nausea, chest pain, or any other abnormal symptoms, stop your workout immediately and consult a physician.

3. Setup

3.1 Unpacking and Placement

Carefully remove the treadmill from its packaging. Place the unit on a hard, level surface. Avoid placing it on thick carpets, which may affect performance and stability.

3.2 Folding and Unfolding

The WalkingPad P1 features a 180° folding design for compact storage. To unfold, gently lift the rear section until it lies flat. To fold, lift the rear section and fold it towards the front until it locks into place. The integrated scroll wheels allow for easy movement and storage under furniture like a sofa or bed.

3.3 Power Connection

Connect the power cord to the treadmill's power input, typically located at the front. Plug the other end into a standard electrical outlet (110V-120V). Ensure the power switch is in the OFF position before plugging in.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Control Methods

The WalkingPad P1 offers multiple ways to control your workout:

  • Digital Display Remote Control: Use the included remote to start/stop, adjust speed, and switch between modes. The remote displays real-time data such as speed, time, and steps.
  • Foot Control (Automatic Mode): In Automatic Mode, the treadmill's speed adjusts based on your foot placement on the belt. Stepping towards the front speeds it up, the middle maintains constant speed, and the rear slows it down.
  • KS Fit APP: Download the exclusive KS Fit APP to your smartphone for advanced control, workout tracking, and personalized settings.

4.2 Modes and Speed Range

The WalkingPad P1 supports two primary modes:

  • Automatic Mode (A): Ideal for walking, with a speed range of 0.5 to 3 km/h (0.3 to 1.86 mph). Speed is controlled by foot placement.
  • Manual Mode (M): Allows for precise speed control via the remote or app, with a range of 0.5 to 6 km/h (0.3 to 3.72 mph). This mode is suitable for both walking and light jogging.

The treadmill's speed can be adjusted from a minimum of 0.5 Miles per Hour to a maximum of 3.75 Miles per Hour.

4.3 Usage Tips

  • Start at a low speed and gradually increase as you become comfortable.
  • Maintain a natural stride and posture.
  • Stay hydrated during your workout.
  • Utilize the KS Fit APP to track your progress and set goals.

5. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your WalkingPad P1.

  • Cleaning: Wipe down the treadmill with a damp cloth after each use to remove sweat and dust. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
  • Lubrication: The running belt requires periodic lubrication to reduce friction and wear. Apply silicone lubricant under the belt as per the instructions provided with the lubricant or product.
  • Belt Adjustment: If the running belt becomes off-center or slips, it may need adjustment. Use the included tool to make small adjustments to the tension bolts at the rear of the treadmill until the belt is centered and taut.

6. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your WalkingPad P1, try the following common troubleshooting steps:

  • No Power: Check if the power cord is securely plugged into both the treadmill and the wall outlet. Ensure the power switch is ON.
  • Treadmill Not Starting: Verify the remote control battery. Ensure the safety key (if applicable) is correctly inserted.
  • Belt Slipping/Off-Center: Refer to the belt adjustment instructions in the Maintenance section.
  • Unusual Noises: Check for any loose parts or foreign objects under the belt. Ensure the treadmill is on a level surface. Lubricate the belt if necessary.
