  1. Download the eWeLink App: Search for "eWeLink" on the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android), or scan the QR code provided in the quick start guide included with your product. Install the app on your smartphone or tablet.
  2. Register and Log In: Open the eWeLink app, register a new account if you don't have one, and then log in.
  3. Plug In the Smart Plug: Insert the SONOFF S31 Smart Plug into any standard 120V wall outlet. Ensure the outlet is powered.
  4. Enter Pairing Mode: Press and hold the button on the smart plug for approximately 5 seconds until the LED indicator starts blinking rapidly. This indicates it's in pairing mode.
  5. Add Device in App: Open the eWeLink app, tap the "+" icon in the upper right corner, and follow the on-screen instructions to add your device. You will need to select your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network and enter its password. Note: The SONOFF S31 only supports 2.4GHz Wi-Fi networks. Ensure your device is connected to a 2.4GHz network during setup.
  6. Name Your Device: Once successfully paired, you can name your smart plug (e.g., "Living Room Lamp," "Coffee Maker") for easy identification and control.
