Installation Steps

  1. Connect SATA Power: Locate an available SATA power connector from your power supply unit (PSU) and connect it to the SATA power input on the Kolink Inspire L2 RGB Controller. This provides power to the controller.
  2. Connect RGB Devices: Identify the RGB connectors on your fans, LED strips, or other RGB components. Connect these devices to the corresponding output ports on the Kolink Inspire L2 RGB Controller. The controller supports 12V 4-Pin RGB, Phanteks RGB, and Corsair RGB connectors. Operating Instructions

Using the RF Wireless Remote Control

The Kolink Inspire L2 RGB Controller is operated using the included RF wireless remote control. Ensure the plastic battery isolation tab is removed from the remote before first use.

The remote offers over 300 color settings and modes. Point the remote towards the controller's receiver for optimal signal transmission.

  • Power Button (): Turns the RGB lighting on or off.
  • Color Buttons: Selects static colors. The remote features dedicated buttons for common colors (e.g., red, green, blue, white).
  • COLOR +/-: Adjusts the hue of the selected static color or cycles through a wider range of colors.
  • MODE +/-: Cycles through various dynamic lighting effects and patterns.
  • SPEED +/-: Increases or decreases the speed of dynamic lighting effects.
  • BRIGHT +/-: Adjusts the brightness level of the RGB lighting.
  • DEMO Button: Activates a demonstration mode that cycles through various effects and colors automatically.

The controller is designed to save your last used settings, so your preferred lighting configuration will be restored upon system startup.

Maintenance

Cleaning

To ensure optimal performance and longevity, periodically clean the controller and remote control. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe away dust. Avoid using liquid cleaners or abrasive materials.

Remote Control Battery Replacement

If the remote control becomes unresponsive, the battery may need replacement. The remote typically uses a CR2025 or CR2032 coin cell battery. Refer to the remote's battery compartment for the exact type and replacement instructions.

Troubleshooting

  • RGB Lights Not Turning On:
    • Ensure the SATA power cable is securely connected to both the controller and the PSU.
    • Verify that all RGB devices are correctly connected to the controller's output ports.
    • Check the remote control battery and ensure the plastic isolation tab is removed.
    • Press the power button on the remote.
  • Remote Control Not Responding:
    • Replace the remote control battery.

    • Try operating the remote from a closer distance.
  • Colors Do Not Match Remote Buttons:
    • Some RGB devices may display slight color variations. Use the COLOR +/- buttons to fine-tune the hue until the desired color is achieved.
  • Flickering or Inconsistent Lighting:
    • Check all RGB cable connections for looseness.
    • Ensure your PSU is providing stable power to the SATA connector.
