1. Introduction
The DATOUBOSS Portable Infrared Paint Curing Lamp (Model SC-12) is a 2000W handheld device designed for efficient and effective paint drying and curing in automotive body repair and other applications. Utilizing shortwave infrared heating technology, this lamp provides rapid and deep penetration, curing paint from the inside out to achieve a high-gloss finish and strong coating adhesion. 2. Safety Instructions
WARNING: Failure to follow these safety instructions may result in electric shock, fire, serious injury, or property damage.
- Always operate the lamp in a well-ventilated area to prevent the buildup of fumes from paints or solvents.
- Ensure the power supply matches the lamp's voltage requirements (110V/220V, 50Hz/60Hz). Use a grounded outlet.
- Do not touch the lamp's heating elements or surrounding metal surfaces during or immediately after operation, as they become extremely hot. Allow sufficient time for cooling.
- Keep flammable materials, liquids, and gases away from the lamp during operation.
- Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), including heat-resistant gloves and eye protection, when operating the lamp.
- Do not expose the lamp to water or operate it in wet conditions.
- Inspect the power cord and plug for any damage before each use. Do not use if damaged.
- Keep children and pets away from the operating area.

5. Setup
The DATOUBOSS Portable Infrared Paint Curing Lamp is designed for quick and easy setup.
- Unboxing: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Inspect the lamp and accessories for any signs of damage during transit.

- Attach Handle: The lamp comes with a detachable handle. Align the handle with the mounting points on the top of the lamp and secure it firmly.

6. Operating Instructions
The DATOUBOSS Infrared Paint Curing Lamp is designed for straightforward operation.
- Power On: Once connected to a suitable power source, the lamp will immediately begin to heat up. There is no separate on/off switch; operation is "plug and play."

- Positioning for Curing: Direct the lamp towards the area requiring curing. Maintain an appropriate distance from the surface to ensure even heating and prevent damage. The optimal curing distance is typically within the specified curing area of 350x400mm.

- Curing Times (Approximate):
- Rust-resistant Primer: 8-10 minutes
- First Putty: 10-14 minutes
- Midway Primer: 11-15 minutes
- Topcoat: 13-19 minutes
- Varnish: 12-19 minutes
These times are approximate and may vary based on paint type, thickness, ambient temperature, and desired finish. Always monitor the curing process closely.

- Cool Down: After use, unplug the lamp and allow it to cool down completely before handling or storing.
7. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your DATOUBOSS Infrared Paint Curing Lamp.
- Cleaning: Ensure the lamp is unplugged and completely cool before cleaning. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe down the exterior. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents. Keep the reflector and heating elements free from dust and debris.
- Lamp Tube Replacement: The halogen tubes have a service life of approximately 10,000 hours. If a tube burns out or its performance degrades, it can be replaced.
- Unplug the lamp and allow it to cool completely.
- Carefully remove the protective grille.
- Gently unclip the old halogen tube from its sockets.
- Insert the new tube, ensuring it is securely seated. Avoid touching the glass part of the new tube with bare hands, as oils can reduce its lifespan. Use a clean cloth or gloves.
- Reattach the protective grille.
